バルセロナの元U-21スペイン代表GKイニャキ・ペーニャ(24)が契約延長を保留しているようだ。スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』が伝えている。

ペーニャはバルセロナの下部組織育ちで、近年はバルセロナ・アトレティック(Bチーム)を主戦場としつつもファーストチームに帯同。昨季後半戦のガラタサライへの武者修行を経た今季、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のビクトリア・プルゼニ戦でデビューを飾った。

正GKマルク=アンドレ・テア・シュテーゲンを2番手GKとして支える立場のため、出場機会はほとんどないものの、前述のCL1試合とコパ・デル・レイ(国王杯)2試合に出場。3試合ともチームを勝利に導き、今年1月には正式にファーストチームに登録されていた。

一方、今季までとなっている契約について、クラブから3年延長の打診を受けているにもかかわらず、これを保留。クラブは回答期限を設けていないものの、その裏では古巣ガラタサライ、フェネルバフチェ、レアル・ベティスがペーニャのフリー獲得を目論んでいるという。

どうやらペーニャはより多くのプレータイムを求めているようで、バルセロナでなければ、正GK争いが可能であるとも。テア=シュテーゲンの壁を超えることは現実的でないと考えているようだ。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「今ではサッカーに集中」騒動が収束に向かっているスペイン女子代表、女子W杯最優秀選手のボンマティが語る「最初はストレスと不安が…」

スペイン女子代表のMFアイタナ・ボンマティは、騒動に揺れた中で現状を語った。バルセロナでプレーするボンマティは、スペイン女子代表の中心選手でもあり、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)でも初優勝に貢献。ゴールデンボール(最優秀選手)にも選ばれていた。そんな中、スペイン女子代表には騒動が。スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)の元会長であるルイス・ルビアレス氏が、決勝後のセレモニー中にFWジェニファー・エルモソの唇にキス。この行為が世界中で大きな騒動に発展した。紆余曲折あった中、ルビアレス元会長は辞任。また、スペイン女子代表を率いていたホルヘ・ビルダ監督が解任されたものの、選手たちは招集をボイコットする声明を発表していた。それでも試合が迫っていることで招集されると、選手たちは合流。その後、7時間以上の話し合いの末にルビアレス元会長の息がかかった人々が退陣することで合意。チームは20日にボイコットを終えると、22日にはスウェーデン女子代表相手に3-2で勝利を収めていた。スペイン女子代表は、26日にスイス女子代表と対戦。ボンマティは試合前の記者会見に出席し、改めて今回の事態について言及。今は集中してプレーできているとし、将来に向けて、戦う必要があったとした。「私たちはスポーツと社会のレベルで、男性と女性は平等に扱われるべきであるという模範を示している」「最初の数日はストレスと不安で難しかったけど、日が経つにつれて状況は変わってきた。今では私たちはサッカーに集中することができ、それが私たちが望んでいたことだ」「私たちは改善すべき点がたくさんあること、議論されてきたこと、そして状況を改善し、将来の全ての世代に良い遺産と良い環境を残してほしい」「(男女平等は)世界的な争いであり、全ての選手は私たち自身の問題であると感じている」「私たちはサッカーをするためにここにいますが、私たちには声を上げることができ、サッカーと女性を自分たちが見つけたよりも良い場所に残す責任がある」 2023.09.26 22:02 Tue

「マジで来てるのか!」「一目でもいいから会いたい」ダビド・シルバが来日しファン騒然、東京と大阪を楽しむ姿に久保建英も反応「気に入ってもらえるといいな」
