ブラジルサッカー連盟(CFB)は15日、ラモン・メネゼス氏(50)をブラジル代表の暫定指揮官に任命したことを発表した。
ブラジル代表ではカタール・ワールドカップ終了後、契約満了に伴いチッチ前監督が退任していた。
メネゼス氏は現役時代、ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマやヴィトーリアで活躍。2003年には東京ヴェルディでプレーしていた。指揮官転向後は古巣のヴァスコ・ダ・ガマやヴィトーリアを率い、2022年3月からはU-20ブラジル代表を率いていた。そのU-20ブラジル代表では2023年の南米ユース選手権を優勝に導いた。
メネゼス氏の初陣は3月25日のモロッコ代表との親善試合となる。
なお、CFBの本命は現レアル・マドリー指揮官のカルロ・アンチェロッティ監督であることに変わりはない様子で今後も交渉が行われるものと思われる。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!
