フライブルクの日本代表MF堂安律が、ボルシアMGの日本代表DF板倉滉のバースデーを祝った。共に日本代表としてカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を戦った2人。堂安律が2つ下となるが、同じ東京オリンピック世代として長らく一緒にプレーしている。
1月27日は板倉の26歳の誕生日。日の丸を背負い、今はブンデスリーガのライバルクラブでプレーする堂安が懐かしい写真を引っ張り出して祝福した。
堂安と板倉はエールディビジのフローニンヘンで半年間チームメイトとしてプレー。先にフローニンヘンで堂安がプレーしており、マンチェスター・シティに移籍した板倉が途中でレンタル移籍で加入した。
半年後、堂安はPSVへと完全移籍したことでチームメイトであった期間が終了したが、そのフローニンヘン時代の2ショットを投稿。「誕生日おめでとう!」と祝った。

堂安律の同期、“天才”と称されたMF市丸瑞希に男の子誕生「夫婦2人で仲良く育てていきたいと思います!」

ボルシアMGが新ユニフォームを発表! 中央に黒と緑のストライプ!

インテル&ブライトン、ボルシアMGの逸材MFに関心か?
ボルシアMGのU-21ドイツ代表MFロッコ・ライツ(22)に国外の強豪2クラブが関心を示しているようだ。ドイツ『スカイ』が報じている。 ボルシアMGの下部組織出身のライツはセントラルMFを主戦場に、中盤から前の複数ポジションをカバーするマルチロール。2020年10月に行われたブンデスリーガのマインツ戦で18歳と148日でのファーストチームデビューを飾ると、シント=トロイデンへの2度の武者修行を経験した後、昨シーズンから主力に定着した。 176㎝と上背はないものの、アスリート能力に優れており、卓越した戦術眼とパスセンス、足元の技術を併せ持った万能型。ブンデスリーガの公式サイトでは元ドイツ代表MFミヒャエル・バラックとも比較されていた。 報道によると、そのライツにはインテルとブライトンの2クラブが関心を示しており、同選手には2026年に有効となる2000万ユーロ(約32億3000万円)の契約解除条項があるという。 ただ、クラブは2028年まで契約を残す22歳MFを今後のプロジェクトの中心に据えたい考えを持っており、早い段階での売却は考えていない模様だ。 2024.12.14 17:50 Sat

高校サッカーから欧州挑戦の成功例を作れるか?近未来の日本代表FW・福田師王の可能性 【新しい景色へ導く期待の選手/vol.1】
森保一監督の続投が決まり、名波浩・前田遼一両コーチの加入も正式決定するなど、3月に発足する新たな日本代表の陣容が固まりつつある。選手の方は2022年カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に参戦した三笘薫(ブライトン)、堂安律(フライブルク)、板倉滉(ボルシアMG)ら東京五輪世代が今後のベースになると見られる。が、世界を見渡せば、クロアチア代表DFヨシュコ・クヴァルディオル(RBライプツィヒ)やイングランド代表MFジュード・ベリンガム(ドルトムント)などもっと若い世代も活躍している。日本も2001年生まれ以降のパリ五輪世代の台頭が必要不可欠と言っていいだろう。 そこで注目されるのが、第101回高校サッカー選手権大会でベスト4に進出した神村学園のエースFW福田師王だろう。ご存じの通り、彼は高校卒業とともに板倉が在籍するボルシア・メンヘングラードバッハ入りすることが決まっている。 「自分がこの先、欧州でどう生き残っていくか、ステップアップしていくかっていうことにフォーカスして、選手権で優勝できなかった悔しさをバネに頑張りたい。高校から欧州へ行った成功例がまだあまり出ていないので、自分がその第一人者になれるようにしっかり活躍していきたいと思います」と本人は大会を制覇した岡山学芸館に敗れた際、こうコメントしていた。 確かに福田が言うように、高校から欧州というのは成功例が少ない。先駆者と言えるのが、中京大中京からグルノーブル入りした伊藤翔(横浜FC)と同校からアーセナル入りした宮市亮(横浜F・マリノス)。伊藤の方はフランス2部からのスタートだったが、思うように出場機会をつかめず、3年半でリーグ戦に出たのは5試合のみ。世界の壁にぶつかった格好だ。 宮市の方はアーセナルから最初にレンタルされたフェイエノールトで一世を風靡し、大いに注目されたが、その後の相次ぐケガでブレイクを果たせず、日本代表定着も叶っていない状況だ。 その後、約10年の時を経て、2022年1月にはチェイス・アンリが尚志からシュツットガルトへ移籍。現在はセカンドチームに当たるU-21チームでトレーニングを積んでいる模様だ。本人はジュビロ磐田から同U-21入りした伊藤洋輝のように一気にトップチームに這い上がるイメージを描いていたようだが、高卒新人がすんなり階段を駆け上がれるほど、欧州5大リーグは甘くない。そういった例があるからこそ、福田の行く末を不安視する人も少なくないのである。 「ボルシアMGに練習参加した時、重要だなと感じたのはコミュニケーション能力と結果。本当にゴールを決めればボールが来るようになるんだなと感じたので、そこにこだわっていかないといけないと思います。同じクラブの板倉さんやシャルケの吉田麻也さんも『海外へ行ったら人間性が鍛えられる』と言っていましたし、『本当にこっちに来てみないと分からないことが沢山あるから来い』と言ってくれた。その言葉がすごく大きかったし、背中を押されました」と本人はあえて苦難に挑んでいく覚悟だ。 福田自身が名前を挙げていたように、近くに海外経験豊富な先輩たちがいるのは大きなアドバンテージだ。加えて言うと、近隣の町・デュッセルドルフは欧州随一の日本人街で、日本サッカー協会の欧州拠点もある。年代別代表に招集されている福田はメンタルやフィジカル面のケアを受けることができるはずだ。そういった環境面は伊藤や宮市が欧州挑戦に踏み出した頃に比べると格段によくなっている。そのアドバンテージを生かしつつ、彼はいち早く言葉を覚え、異国の文化習慣に適応し、自分自身の力を発揮できるように努力することが肝要だ。 福田という選手は身長こそ178㎝とそこまで高くないが、前線の厳しいところでボールを収めることができ、裏に抜け出すスピードも併せ持っている。自らドリブルで持ち込んで豪快なシュートを決める能力もある。これだけスケール感のある点取屋はパリ五輪世代を見渡してもそうそういない。あとはプロの実績さえ積み重ねられれば、大ブレイクも十分あり得るのではないか。 「今まで6年間一緒にやってきた大迫(塁=セレッソ大阪)とはまた代表で会いたいですね」とも語っていたが、お互いの特徴を熟知する盟友とのホットラインが数年後、再び結成されるようなら理想的。大迫もまたセレッソ大阪というハイレベルな選手のひしめく環境で競争に勝ち抜かなければならないが、福田もJリーグを選んだ彼に負けたくないという思いは強いはず。どちらが急激な成長曲線を描けるのか。それもまた興味深い点である。 いずれにしても、福田のような例が今後はどんどん増えそうな雰囲気もある。だからこそ、彼には何としても成功してもらわなければいけない。日本屈指の若きFWがトップリーグの舞台に立つ日が今から楽しみだ。 2023.01.19 21:30 Thu
