ジネディーヌ・ジダン氏(50)にアメリカ代表が監督就任のオファーを送ったようだ。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。

2度の政権を築いたレアル・マドリーで、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)3連覇やラ・リーガ制覇など多くの栄光をもたらしたジダン氏。無冠に終わった2020-21シーズンを最後に退任し、以降は現場から距離を置いている。新天地に関しては度々報じられており、フランス代表やパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)、ユベントスといったチームの監督就任説も。特に、フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)との交渉は長期間にわたって続いていたと伝えられていたが、7日にディディエ・デシャン監督の続投が発表されたことにより、一旦はその線がなくなった。
そうした中、フランス『レキップ』はアメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)がジダン氏に対して代表監督のオファーを提示したと報道。期間は2026年の北中米ワールドカップW杯までと設定されていたが、ジダン氏はこれを拒否した模様だ。

一方、『レキップ』はフランス代表指揮官への就任の噂がデシャン監督との契約延長という形で決着したこともあり、ジダン氏の将来についても近々動き出す可能性が高いとも。現場復帰が待たれるが、率いるのは一体どのチームか。

"ジダンの頭突き"銅像再設置へ 責任者「アートは好みの問題、目的は人々に力を与えること」

22歳FWがアメリカ代表史上初の2戦連続ハットトリック!総数でもドノバン氏に並びトップタイに
