サウジアラビア行きを決めたポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(37)だが、どうやらレアル・マドリー復帰が叶わなかったようだ。

イギリステレビでのインタビューで当時の所属先であるマンチェスター・ユナイテッドの監督を含むありとあらゆる方面を公然と批判して、退団が決まったC・ロナウド。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を無所属選手として戦った後、サウジアラビアのアル・ナスルが新天地に決まった。

2年半契約が結ばれ、既報によれば年俸2億ユーロ(約280億4000万円)という超破格条件でサウジアラビア移籍を決断したC・ロナウドだが、スペイン『マルカ』によると、当初はレアル・マドリー復帰を希望。ただ、レアル・マドリーからは話が来ず、別の道を進まざるを得なかったという。
C・ロナウドはW杯が終わってから、レアル・マドリーの練習施設で自主トレーニング。にわかにレアル・マドリー復帰の可能性も囁かれたが、カルロ・アンチェロッティ監督は今冬の補強不要を明言しており、クラブ側もいくらかつてのエースといえども、扉を開かなかったようだ。

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー

驚異の身体能力持つC・ロナウドの垂直跳びの記録は?かつてはほぼ3mの高さからヘディングシュート

C・ロナウドは破局したら毎月1600万円を支払い? 「妻」と呼んで話題のジョルジーナさんとの間に契約が発覚

レアル退団の理由は「マドリーと競争したくなかった」…ベンゼマが引退後のプランも語る「フロレンティーノの近くに居たい」

レアル・マドリーのレジェンドでもあり、現在はサウジアラビアのアル・イテハドでプレーする元フランス代表FWカリム・ベンゼマが、サウジアラビアの日々などを語った。 リヨンで育ったベンゼマは2005年7月にファーストチームに昇格。2009年7月に21歳でマドリーに完全移籍した。 ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(アル・ナスル)ら、数多くの世界的なスター選手たちとプレーしたベンゼマは、公式戦648試合で354ゴール165アシストを記録。ラ・リーガ、チャンピオンズリーグ、コパ・デル・レイなど全てのタイトルを獲得したほか、バロンドールも受賞。2023年夏にサウジアラビアへと移籍した。 アル・イテハドではここまで公式戦51試合で31ゴール15アシストを記録。キャプテンとしてチームを牽引している中、『Los Amigos de Edu』という番組でエドゥ・アギーレ氏との対談に出演した。 現在サウジ・プロ・リーグでプレーするベンゼマ。サウジアラビアでの生活については「ここは気持ちが良いし、落ち着いている。マドリードとは同じではないが、ここでも常に勝たなければならない。毎年レベルが上がり、その資格が必要になる」とコメント。「僕がマドリードに来た時も、人々が僕を愛してくれていることにいつだって気がついていた。僕たちにはとても優秀なチームと監督がいる」と、アル・イテハドでの充実ぶりを語った。 サウジ・プロ・リーグは近年ヨーロッパから数多くの選手が加入しており、ワールドクラスの選手が集まるリーグとなっている。 また、サウジアラビア国民もサッカーに熱心であり、アジアの大会などが多く開催。そのため、マドリー時代と自身の生活は大きく変わっていないとした。 「僕の日常生活はマドリードと似ている。朝起きて、自宅のジムでトレーニングし、午後はチームと一緒にトレーニングしている」 「夜はディナーに出掛けたり、ビーチに行ったりすることもある。ただ、ここでも通りを歩くことはできない。人々はサッカーに夢中だ。僕は今でもマドリードにいた時と同じように、自分自身を大切にしている」 改めてマドリーを去った理由についても聞かれたベンゼマは、全てを成し遂げたからだと説明。また、ヨーロッパの他のクラブでマドリーと争いたくなかったと理由を語った。 「僕は全てを成し遂げた。少年としてスタートし、男として終えた。全てのタイトルとバロンドールを獲得したので、良い形で去りたかった」 「次の年にどのような成績を収めたかは誰にも分からない。僕にとって、レアル・マドリーは世界最高のクラブであり、PSGやシティなど、マドリーと張り合える他のチームで競争はしたくなかった」 多くの成功を手にしたベンゼマも37歳。キャリアの終わりに向かっている中、引退後についても語り、自身をマドリーにつ的たフロレンティーノ・ペレス会長の近くに居たいと語った。 「監督になることについてはよく分からない。選手になることよりも難しいと思う。サッカーの近くにいたい。引退したらフロレンティーノの近くに居たいね」 2025.03.03 18:30 Mon

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
