カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)にベルギー代表の正守護神として出場したクルトワ。4年前のロシアW杯では3位に輝いたチームだけに、それ以上の成績を目指して戦った。

しかし、初戦のカナダ代表戦では勝利を収めたものの、第2戦のモロッコ代表戦では敗戦。最終戦ではクロアチア代表に引き分け、まさかのグループ3位で敗退という憂き目に遭ってしまった。

期待されていた結果を残せず、失意の中でW杯を終えたベルギー。クルトワはチームに合流する前に休暇をもらっており、モルディブを訪れているようだ。

妻のミシェル・ゲルジグさんはイスラエル出身の長身モデル。今年6月に婚約していた。

クルトワはインスタグラムで「モルディブ、妻と一緒」と投稿。ビーチで楽しむ姿を投稿している。

2人とも水着姿であり、ミシェルさんはさすがモデルといったプロポーション。セクシーな水着姿にはファンも「美しい」、「愛してる」、「最高だ」と投稿。クルトワも「僕はなんてラッキーだ」と妻の投稿にコメントするほどだ。
