スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)は8日、スペイン代表の指揮官にU-21スペイン代表のルイス・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督(61)の就任を発表した。12日に正式就任となる。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場していたスペインは、日本代表と同じグループEに入り、ドイツ代表、コスタリカ代表と同居した。

グループステージでは初戦のコスタリカ代表戦で7ゴールを奪う大勝スタート。2戦目のドイツ戦は1-1のドローに終わると、第3戦の日本戦ではまさかの1-2と逆転負け。それでも2位でグループステージを突破した。
そのスペインだったが、ラウンド16ではモロッコ代表を相手にゴールを奪えず、0-0で120分間を終了。すると、PK戦では3人連続で失敗し、2人はGKボノにセーブされ、敗退となった。

8日にはルイス・エンリケ監督の退任を発表していたRFEFだが、すぐに後任を発表。長らくU-21スペイン代表を率いてきたデ・ラ・フエンテ氏を抜擢した。
現役時代にはアスレティック・ビルバオ、セビージャ、アラベスでプレー。引退後はビルバオ・アスレティック(Bチーム)で監督キャリアをスタート。その後、アラベスでも監督を務めると、2013年にU-19スペイン代表の監督に就任。U-18スペイン代表も含め、2018年まで指揮すると、2018年からはU-21スペイン代表を務めた。

2015年にはU-19スペイン代表を率いてU-19欧州選手権を制すると、2019年にはU-21スペイン代表を率いてU-21欧州選手権で優勝。2021年夏には東京オリンピックにも出場したチームを率い、日本代表とも準決勝で対戦。延長戦の末に勝利したが、決勝ではブラジル代表に2-1で敗れ、銀メダルに終わっていた。

現在のスペイン代表は東京五輪世代が多く招集されており、ほとんどの選手がデ・ラ・フエンテ監督の下でプレーしたことがある状況だ。

なお、デビュー戦は2023年3月に行われるユーロ2024予選のノルウェー代表戦、スコットランド戦になるという。

モロッコの国家的プロジェクト…ブラヒム&16歳ヤマルに政府高官が接触、自国にルーツの海外出身選手でA代表強化へ

アル・ヒラルがマルセイユのブラジル代表DFロディを完全移籍で獲得、2027年夏までの契約

「王者として重要な大会を戦わなければ」代表招集拒否のスペイン女子代表選手たちの声明、同意しなかったW杯優勝メンバーが理由を明かす「私は何よりもプレーしたい」

レアル・マドリーのスペイン女子代表FWアテネア・デル・カスティージョが、同意しなかった声明について自身の考えを明かした。 オーストラリ&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で見事に優勝したスペイン女子代表。しかし、メダルが授与されるセレモニーでスペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)のルイス・ルビアレス会長がFWジェニファー・エルモソの唇にキス。これが大きな問題に発展した。 エルモソは望んでいないキスをされたとすると、世界中で批判がルビアレス会長に集中することに。しかし、ルビアレス会長は自身の行動を一度は謝罪するも、「合意の上だった」「辞任する気はない」と主張を繰り返すことに。ただ、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)から懲戒処分を受けると、エルモソも正式に告訴。その結果、会長を辞任することとなった。 一方で、スペイン代表の選手たちや候補選手たちは連盟で改善がない限り代表招集に応じない意向を発表。RFEFはホルヘ・ビルダ監督も解任し、体制が変わったRFEFだったが、UEFA女子ネーションズリーグに向けたメンバーが発表される予定の15日に、39名の選手が更なる改善を要求し代表招集を拒否する声明を発表していた。 これにより、スペイン女子代表メンバー発表は延期されることとなった、女子W杯優勝メンバーのうち2人が声明にサインしていなかった。1人は、レアル・マドリーのMFクラウディア・ソルノサだったが、女子W杯をもって代表引退を決意したとのこと。もう1人が、カスティージョだった。 カスティージョは自身のX(旧ツイッター)を通じて、自身が声明に同意しなかった理由を説明。ルビアレス元会長の行為やRFEFの体制に対しての不満や訴えには同意しているものの、まずは代表選手としてプレーすることが大事だと考えていると明かした。 「ここ数時間の出来事を受け、私の意見と決断を下した全ての理由を述べたいと思う」 「今回発表された声明を掘り下げる前に、私の考えを明確にしておきたいと思う。仲間がすでに述べているように、ジェニ・エルモソに起こった全てのことを非難し、ルイス・ルビアレスの全く場違いで遺憾な行動を指摘することに、私は完全に同意する」 「このため、私は他の80人の選手たちと共に、この事件を非難する声明に署名し、ルイス・ルビアレスが引き続きその職に就くならば、代表チームに行かないと表明した」 「この声明とその後の出来事の後、誰もが知るように、ルイス・ルビアレスとホルヘ・ビルダはもはやRFEFにいない。ただ、ネーションズリーグの戦いが近いこと、そして私たちの要求の重要な部分が満たされていることを考慮すると、代表チームへの招集を断ることは考えていない。その主張を明確に示したいと思う」 「まず第一に、私たちはサッカー選手。ここ数週間に起こったことを考慮すると、それを思い出しておいて損はない。私たちはプロフェッショナルとして、その義務を果たさなければならない」 「第二に、私たちが要求する変化には名前と姓があり、それらを引き起こす、または少なくともそれを始めるのに最良の方法は内部からであると私は信じている」 「もちろん、それは必要だと思うけど、RFEFが全く不確実な状況にあることも承知しているし、現時点で指揮を執っている人たちを信頼したいと思っている。私たちは、そのために指定されたわけではないため、選手が私たちが求めているこれらの変更を行うことはできないことは明らかだ」 「また、オリンピック出場のチャンスを与えてくれる非常に重要な大会を戦わなければならないと思う。私たちは世界王者のチームであり、それを忘れてはいけない。選手たちは皆、スペインのスポーツ界で最も重要な偉業の1つを達成した後、酷い数週間を過ごした。私は特にサッカーに行きたい、サッカーを見たい、そして何よりもプレーしたいと思っている」 「要するに、私は自分が考えていること、やりたいことを表明し他のであり、それ以上でもそれ以下でもない。この状況を完全に終わらせて、サッカーのことだけを考え、プレーし、見て、楽しむことに戻りたいと思っている」 2023.09.16 19:30 Sat

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「これは一体何?」「誰にも似合わない」新たな色を導入したスペイン代表のアウェイユニフォームに驚きの声続出「なんでこの配色に?」

W杯優勝スペイン女子代表の新指揮官にモンセ・トメ氏! 同代表で初の女性指揮官に

スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)は5日、スペイン女子代表の新監督にモンセ・トメ氏(41)を招へいしたことを発表した。 スペインは先のFIFA女子ワールドカップ(W杯)オーストラリア&ニュージーランド2023で初優勝を飾った。 しかし、ルイス・ルビアレス会長によるFWジェニファー・エルモソへの唇へのキスが引き起こした不祥事の一環として、ホルヘ・ビルダ監督(42)の解任を決断していた。 そういった中、ルビアレス会長の停職処分を受けて新たに設立された理事会は、ビルダ監督の後任に元スペイン女子代表MFで、2018年から同監督の下でアシスタントコーチを務めていたトメ氏の招へいを決定した。 現役時代にレアル・オビエド、レバンテ、バルセロナでプレーしたトメ氏は、スペイン女子代表としても通算4試合に出場した。 2012年の現役後は指導者としてのセカンドキャリアをスタートし、ビルダ監督の下でアシスタントコーチを務める傍ら、U-17スペイン女子代表、U-20スペイン女子代表の指導も行っていた。 なお、スペイン女子代表で初の女性指揮官となるトメ氏は、今月22日と26日に開催されるUEFA女子ネーションズリーグのスウェーデン女子代表戦、スイス女子代表戦で初陣を飾ることになる。 2023.09.06 06:00 Wed
