｢調子は良いよ。ここ2週間、うまくトレーニングができた。直近の3試合では終盤に途中出場することができた。もっと状態を上げていきたいね｣
前回のロシア大会で準優勝したクロアチアだが、今大会を迎えるにあたって違いがあるかと問われたブロゾビッチは次のように答えた。

「ショック」「史上最悪」クロアチア代表のW杯ユニ、伝統の市松模様が不均衡なホームは酷評の嵐…アウェイには好意的意見
