フランスサッカー協会(FFF)のノエル・ル・グラエ会長が、フランス代表を率いるディディエ・デシャン監督続投の意向を明かした。
デシャン監督は2012年夏にローラン・ブラン監督の後任としてレ・ブルー指揮官に就任。2014年のワールドカップでベスト8、2016年のユーロで準優勝に導くと、2018年のW杯ロシア大会でクロアチア代表を下し、20年ぶりの優勝を果たした。
就任から10年となるデシャン監督だが、今度のカタールW杯がひとつの分岐点。現行契約は大会終了までとなっており、以降の去就は不透明だ。だが、ル・グラエ会長は54歳指揮官への信頼を強調し、今後も継続路線を最優先に考えていることを明らかにした。
「W杯が終わった後に話をする。10年間も一緒に仕事をしており、お互いのことを十分に理解している」

ユーロに臨む各国指揮官を英紙がファッションチェック!イタリアはアルマーニのスーツを着用

「ラポルテの足跡は辿らない」つもりが… スペイン国籍取得進めるフランス人DFの分岐点とは?

ドイツがU-17W杯で初優勝! PK戦までもつれこんだフランスとの熱戦を制し、3つのW杯を制した史上4カ国目に【U-17W杯】
