カディスのアルゼンチン人GKヘレミアス・レデスマがバルセロナ戦での救命活動を振り返った。10日に行われたラ・リーガ第5節のカディスvsバルセロナ。バルセロナが0-2でリードする展開の中、81分にアクシデントが発生した。
スタンドでカディスサポーターの男性が心臓発作を起こし、治療のために試合が一時中断。メディカルチームが男性の元へ駆けつけ、治療を行っていた中、アクションを起こしたのはレデスマだった。
カディスの守護神はベンチへと向かい、バルセロナのメディカルスタッフから自動体外式除細動器(AED)を受け取ると、そのままスタンドに向かって全力でダッシュ。治療中のスタッフにピッチからAEDをパスした。
男性はその場で一命を取り留め、近くの病院の集中治療室(ICU)に搬送。レデスマの勇敢な行動と、敵味方の壁を越えた連携プレーに称賛の声が相次いだ。
「当時はスタンドに人がたくさんいて、何が起こっているのかわからなかった。だけど、少しするとその人に対して心肺蘇生をしていると理解できたんだ」

「げきあつ」「アツい」久保建英が仲良しの元チームメイトとマッチアップ!試合後にはSNSでも交流「兄弟」
