リバプールでかつて会長を務め、オーナーでもあったてデイビット・ムーア氏が22日に他界した。76歳だった。
ムーア氏は、叔父であるジョン・ムーア氏がエバートンの会長を2度務めていた中、自身はリバプールを愛していた。
ムーア一家は半世紀以上リバプールの過半数の株式を保有しており、デイビッド氏も1991年に会長に就任。そこから16年間会長を務め、2007年に退任。名誉会長となっていた。
クラブのプレミアリーグ制覇を見ることはなかったが、チャンピオンズリーグ優勝や、カップ制覇など10のタイトル獲得を在任中に達成。その後、急速な経済成長と、プレミアリーグの変化についていくために、外部からの投資が必要だと判断して、会長職を退き、現在に至っている。
その後、リバプールはプレミアリーグ優勝やチャンピオンズリーグ優勝など、ユルゲン・クロップ監督の下でプレミア屈指の強豪に成長していた。

ゲッツェに2人目の子供? モデルの妻が願望を口に「また男の子でも可愛い」

2人のマク・アリスターがELで実現した兄弟対決を振り返る、兄「苦しんだのは弟のせい」弟「家族にとって特別なもの」
