12日、スイス・スーパーリーグ第21節グラスホッパーvsローザンヌ・スポルトが行われ、日本人対決となった一戦は2-0でホームのグラスホッパーが勝利を収めた。

グラスホッパーの元日本代表MF川辺駿はスタメンで出場し、84分まで出場。今冬加入した日本代表DF瀬古歩夢はベンチ外となった。

一方、ローザンヌ・スポルトの元U-23日本代表DF鈴木冬一はフル出場を果たしている。7日にはインスタグラムでこの3人での写真を公開し「スイスリーグ盛り上げます」とコメントするなど、意気込んでいた。

試合は28分、グラスホッパーが先手を取る。中盤からの対角線のパスをMFドミニク・シュミットが頭で落とし、FWフランシス・モモがボックス左から蹴り込んで先制に成功した。

後半に入って67分には川辺も得点に絡む。

敵陣中央の左で相手のクリアを拾ったモモが即座に縦へ送ると、受けた川辺はボックス左に侵入して左へはたく。リターンを欲しがった川辺だったが、中国代表MFリー・レイの選択はゴール前。ダイレクトでグラウンダーのクロスを入れると、フリーのモモがダイレクトで合わせて2点目を奪った。

対するローザンヌはその後退場者を出し、ゴールを奪えずにタイムアップ。2-0でホームのグラスホッパーが勝利を収めている。

今節を終えてグラスホッパーは5試合ぶりの勝利で6位に浮上。試合後、川辺は自身のインスタグラムを更新し、「大きな勝ち点3」とのメッセージを残している。

一方、ローザンヌは5連敗となり、最下位に転落している。
