ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)は8日、アーセナルのDFガブリエウ・マガリャンイス(23)を追加招集することを発表した。

CBFによると、ベンフィカのDFルーカス・ヴェリッシモが負傷により代表を辞退。代役としてガブリエウが招集を受けることとなった。

ベンフィカによると、ヴェリッシモは7日に行われたプリメイラ・リーガ第11節のブラガ戦に先発出場するも負傷交代。検査の結果、前十字じん帯を断裂しているとのことで、長期離脱となるとのことだ。

ガブリエウは、東京オリンピックに臨むU-24ブラジル代表に選出されていたものの、7月に右oヒザを負傷し辞退。その後復帰し、アーセナルでは守備の要としてチームを支え、今回がブラジル代表初招集となった。

ガブリエウは自身のインスタグラムで「夢の実現。国を代表することは、誇りに満ちている」と、初招集を喜んだ。

なお、ブラジルは11日にコロンビア代表と、16日にアルゼンチン代表と対戦する。

冨安同僚DFガブリエウがバットを振りかざした強盗を撃退…トッテナム生まれの犯人は懲役5年

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?
