ヴェネツィアのウェールズ代表DFイーサン・アンパドゥの退場シーンが議論を巻き起こしている。今夏にチェルシーから期限付き移籍で加入したアンパドゥ。26日に行われたセリエA第10節、ホームでのサレルニターナ戦では4試合ぶりにベンチスタートとなった。
アンパドゥ1点リードで折り返した後半の頭から投入されるも、ヴェネツィアは61分に同点とされてしまう。そこから間もない67分に問題のシーンが訪れる。
最終ラインでボールを回すヴェネツィアはDFピエトロ・チェッカローニの横パスをアンパドゥが跨ぎ、流して受けようとするがややルーズになってしまう。これを狙っていたのが、サレルニターナのFWフランク・リベリ。アンパドゥがスライディングでカバーを試みるも交錯し、リベリは激しく転倒した。

“昇格へ本気” 一時は経営破綻のセリエB・パレルモ、セリエAクラブからエース強奪に成功
