ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)は5日、試合開始直後で突如中止となった件について、声明を発表した。問題が起きたのは現地時間5日に行われる予定だった、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選第6節延期分のブラジル代表vsアルゼンチン代表の一戦だ。

ブラジルで開催されたこの試合、両チームはスタメン発表、スタジアム入場の後、キックオフを迎えた。しかし開始6分が経過したところで、ブラジルの保健当局のスタッフが突如、ピッチサイドに現れると、マッチオフィシャルや両ベンチに対して、試合を即時中断するよう介入した。
その後、アルゼンチンの選手たちはロッカールームへ引き揚げた一方、ブラジルの選手たちはピッチに残って状況を見守ることに。その後、チッチ監督、リオネル・スカローニ監督の両指揮官、キャプテンのMFカゼミロ、FWリオネル・メッシがピッチに集まって協議を重ねたものの、ブラジルの保健当局の強硬な態度もあり、最終的に試合続行を断念することとなった。

この件に関し、CBFは不快感を示し、驚いていると声明を発表した。
「ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)はカタールW杯予選で、有効だったブラジルvsアルゼンチンの試合が中断される事態になったことを深く反省しています」

「CBFは最も厳しい健康プロトコルの実施を守り、それを完全に遵守しています。しかし、Anvisa(ブラジル国家衛生監督庁)は試合前の数日間にもっと適切な方法で行動できたはずです。試合が始まってからの保健当局の行動には、とても驚いていることを強調します」

「また、CBFは、エジナウド・ロドリゲス暫定会長や理事を通じ、ブラジル保健当局が定めた入国のための健康プロトコルに関するいかなる点にも干渉していないことを強調しています」

「CBFの役割は、常に関係者間の理解を促進し、関係者全員が満足できるように衛生プロトコルを満たし、試合を実施することでした」

「CBFは、今回の出来事に改めて失望し、この試合に関するCONMEBOL(南米サッカー連盟)とFIFA(国際サッカー連盟)の決定を待ちます」

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

「恐ろしい数カ月だった…」レイプ疑惑で逮捕されたダニエウ・アウベス、妻が離別を報告「これからもずっと彼を愛します」
