メッシに悪質タックルのベネズエラ代表DF、SNS更新も謝罪なしで大炎上

世界中で物議を醸しているアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシへの残忍なタックル。しかし、このタックルを見舞った相手の態度が、火に油を注いでしまった。

アルゼンチンは現地時間の2日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選第9節でベネズエラ代表と対戦。メッシも先発した試合は、1-3でアルゼンチンが勝利した。

この試合で大きな注目を集めたシーンが32分の出来事だ。

相手ボックス手前でメッシがルーズボールを叩こうとしたところ、猛然と突っ込んできたのは25分から途中出場していたルイス・アドリアン・マルティネスだった。

激突しそうなほどの勢いで突っ込んできたマルティネスは、ボールを押さえに行ったのか、足を上げて踏みつけると、先にボールを叩いたメッシのヒザ付近を上から全力で踏みつける形に。メッシはその場に倒れて動けなくなった。

映像を見る限り、キャリアが終わってもおかしくないほどの悪質なタックルであり、スローモーションではヒザが逆に曲がっているようにも見えるものだったが、アルゼンチンのメディアはタックルを見舞ったルイス・マルティネスを「犯罪者」と表現。SNSなどでは「本当に不要なタックル」という意見が多く、メッシに何もなかったことを喜ぶ声が多く寄せられていた。

そんな中、このマルティネスが自身のツイッターを更新。当然のことながらメッシへの謝罪があるかと思いきや、全くその件に触れなかったことが騒ぎとなっている。

「今日は言葉がない。コーチングスタッフ、チームメイト、そして僕たちを心から支えてくれた全てのファンに謝罪したいと思う」

「僕は自分の国を愛し、責任を負う」

自身の退場や敗戦に対する謝罪はあれど、悪質なファウルを見舞ったことには言及せず。この投稿には「2度とピッチに足を踏み入れるな」や「メッシに謝罪しろ」といった言葉が多く寄せられ、大炎上していた。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ミラン、イタリアで親子3代プレーしたマルディーニ家、次男のダニエルがベネズエラ代表に?

アウェイはなんとJリーグクラブの色違い!アディダスと契約したベネズエラ代表がコパ・アメリカ用の新ユニフォームを発表

名将・サンパオリもオファー拒否…政治介入で監督辞任のベネズエラ代表が苦境

監督探しが難航しているようだ。ベネズエラサッカー連盟(FVF)は、ベネズエラ代表の監督を探している中、ホルヘ・サンパオリ氏(59)にも断られたようだ。スペイン『アス』が報じた。強豪ひしめく南米の中でも最弱国とされていたベネズエラ代表。近年は、ワールドカップこそ出場できていないものの、コパ・アメリカでは結果を残しつつあり、2019年大会でもベスト8に勝ち残っていた。 11月には日本代表とも対戦し、1-4で快勝するなど、元代表OBでもあるラファエル・ドゥダメル監督の下でチームを強化中だったが、今年に入りサッカー連盟との意見の相違や、政治介入の影響で辞任。それ以降、ベネズエラ代表は監督不在となっている。元スペイン代表監督のロベルト・モレーノ氏(現モナコ監督)など、フリーの監督にオファーを出し続けている中でも招へいできない中、チリ代表やアルゼンチン代表を率いていたサンパオリ氏にもオファー。数週間にわたって交渉を続けてきたが、破談となったようだ。サンパオリ監督に近い人物は「彼は、ベネズエラサッカー連盟のオファーを断るとにした。経済的な合意、両者の良いタレント、そして良いプロジェクトがあったが、ホルヘ(・サンパオリ)は待つことを選んだ」とコメント。細部を詰める段階で決裂となったようだ。サンパオリ氏は、チリ代表を率いてコパ・アメリカを連覇。その後、セビージャ、アルゼンチン代表と指揮を執り、2018年12月からはサントスで指揮。しかし、2019年12月に退任し、フリーとなっていた。今年3月からはカタール・ワールドカップに向けた南米予選が開幕。一刻も早く監督を決めたいところだが、オファーを受ける人物は誰になるだろうか。 2020.02.04 11:25 Tue
