1部復帰のマジョルカ、ビジャレアル退団の左SBハウメ・コスタが加入

マジョルカは7日、昨シーズン限りでビジャレアルを退団したスペイン人DFハウメ・コスタ(33)の加入を発表した。契約期間は2023年6月30日までの2年となる。

バレンシアのカンテラ育ちのハウメ・コスタは、2010年にビジャレアルに加入。リザーブチームでのプレーを経て2012年3月に待望のプリメーラデビューを飾ると、チームがセグンダ(2部)に降格した翌シーズンにレギュラーポジションを獲得し、1年でのプリメーラ復帰に貢献した。

以降は左サイドバックの主力としてプレーする傍ら、2019-20シーズンには古巣バレンシアへの1年間のレンタル移籍も経験。バレンシアからレンタルバックした昨シーズンは公式戦25試合に出場し、1ゴール2アシストを記録。準々決勝以降はベンチを温めたものの、8試合に出場したヨーロッパリーグでは自身初のタイトルを獲得した。

なお、個人としてはプリメーラ通算198試合に出場しており、昇格組マジョルカの一員として臨む新シーズンでは200試合出場が最初の目標となる。

浅野拓磨がマジョルカに完全移籍! クラブ4人目の日本人、初のラ・リーガ挑戦へ

「プロサッカー選手を目指し出発しました」大久保嘉人氏が長男のスペイン行きを報告!自身もプレーした地へ「夢に向かって突き進んでくれた事が嬉しい」
