アルゼンチン代表のMFロドリゴ・デ・パウルが、ウルグアイ代表戦を振り返った。スペイン『マルカ』が伝えている。

19日にコパ・アメリカ2021グループA第2節でウルグアイと激突したアルゼンチン。積極的な入りを見せ、その勢いのまま13分にMFギド・ロドリゲスの代表初ゴールで先制に成功する。ウルグアイも強力な2トップを軸に反撃を試みたものの、アルゼンチンが逃げ切って今大会初勝利を手にした。

タフな戦いとなった一戦で中盤を支えたデ・パウルは、陣形をコンパクトにしてウルグアイを引き込み、カウンターを狙う意図があったとコメント。さらには、アルゼンチン代表を長く支える面々にも感謝の言葉を述べた。

「僕らはいつも主役になれるよう戦っている。今日は狙いは、チームをよりコンパクトに保つことだった。前線には優れた選手がいるので、いつでもカウンターに出られるようにね」

「僕らは主人公になりたいんだ。ウルグアイやチリなどのライバルと戦いは簡単じゃない。いつもそうだけど、長い間代表でプレーし、道を示してくれた(リオネル・)メッシ、(ニコラス・)オタメンディ、クン(セルヒオ・アグエロ)には感謝してもし足りない」

マキシ・ロペスが元妻ワンダ・ナラとディナーに…かつてイカルディと不倫され離婚も「幸せであり続けて欲しい」
