逆転でのCL4強へ!PSG戦控えるキミッヒ「絶対的な信念を持って挑まなければ…」

バイエルンのドイツ代表MFヨシュア・キミッヒがパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)戦に向けて意気込みを語った。クラブ公式サイトが伝えている。

バイエルンは13日に行われるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準々決勝2ndレグでPSGと対戦。本拠地で行われた先の1stレグを2-3で落とした前回王者は逆転突破を目指して敵地に乗り込む。

クラブ公式サイトのインタビューを受けたキミッヒはなぜバイエルンがベスト4に進出できると思うのかという質問に「僕らの方が優れたチームだからだ」と返答。大きな自信をのぞかせた。

「次のラウンドに行けると確信しているよ。1stレグでも僕らの方が優れていた」

「しかし、残念ながら結果は僕らのパフォーマンスに見合うものではなかった。でも、2ndレグでは逆転できると信じているよ」

また、FWネイマールやFWキリアン・ムバッペといったワールドクラスの選手を擁する相手の攻撃陣ついても言及。1stレグにおいてもチャンスの数では勝っていたと話し、次戦はそのチャンスを生かしたいと意気込んだ。

「1stレグでは3回のチャンスを与え、3点も取られた。それ以外ではPSGにはそれほど多くのチャンスはなかったと記憶しているよ」

「全体的には僕らがボールを持つ回数が多かったし、チャンスにも絡むようになっていた。 2ndレグでは、そのチャンスをなんとか生かさなければならないね」

さらに、キミッヒは「僕だけでなくチームの1人ひとりにかかっているよ。この試合では全ての選手がリーダーとなり、メンタリティを発揮し、絶対的な信念を持って挑まねばならない。そしてチャンスを掴んだらシュートを打っていく必要があるね」とコメント。大一番を前にチーム全員のメンタリティが重要だと強調した。
