ポルトガルサッカー連盟(FPF)は14日、ポルトガル代表に招集中のリールMFレナト・サンチェスの負傷離脱を発表した。

レナト・サンチェスは11日に行われたアンドラ代表との国際親善試合(7-0で勝利)で先発出場し、1ゴールを挙げる活躍をみせた。

しかし、その後のトレーニングの際に筋肉の損傷が確認され、14日に行われたUEFAネーションズリーグのフランス代表戦(0-1で敗戦)を欠場していた。また、ケガの程度は不明も、17日のクロアチア代表戦でのプレーが困難との判断で、一足早く所属元のリールに復帰させることになった。
