バーンリーがブライトンの中心的存在だったMFスティーブンスを完全移籍で獲得

バーンリーは24日、ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンのイングランド人MFデイル・スティーブンス(31)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。

移籍金は非公開となっており、契約期間は2年間。背番号は「16」をつけることになる。

スティーブンスは、ベリーでキャリアをスタート。長年イングランドの下部リーグでプレーした。

2014年1月にチャールトンからブライトンへと加入。ブライトンでは公式戦223試合に出場し15ゴール13アシストを記録。2016-17シーズンにはクラブ初となるプレミアリーグ昇格に貢献していた。

2019-20シーズンはプレミアリーグで33試合に出場し1アシスト。FAカップでも1試合に出場していた。

スティーブンスは今回の移籍について「僕はとても満足している。予想より数年以上かかると思っていたけど、今週はそれを乗り越えてバーンリーの選手になった」と喜びを語った。
