2020年のUEFAネーションズリーグがいよいよ開幕を迎える。

リーグA・グループ4に入っているスペイン代表のルイス・エンリケ監督が、開幕戦となるドイツ代表戦を前にコメントした。『UEFA.com』が伝えた。

UEFAに所属する55カ国が出場するネーションズリーグ。第1回大会は2018年から2019年にかけて開催。ポルトガル代表が見事初代チャンピオンに輝いた。

UEFAランキングによってグループ分けされた各国がグループステージを戦い、順位に応じて昇降格が設けられている大会。リーグAの4グループは各1位がファイナルフォーに進出し、優勝を争う。

第2回大会の初戦でドイツと対戦するスペインのルイス・エンリケ監督は全ての試合に勝つとコメント。来年に1年延期となったユーロへ向けた準備としても、しっかりと勝ちに行くと意気込みを語った。

「ポイントを獲得し、全ての試合に勝つことを目的としている。それが私の目標であり、選手たちに同じように考えるように話をしている」

「ドイツは強豪国であり、トップクラスだ。彼らはユーロの優勝候補の1つになるだろうが、我々はそれを勝ち取るつもりだ。ネーションズリーグでプレーするのは好きだし、代表チームと一緒に仕事をするのも好きだ」

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」
