サッカーにおいて、試合を決める大きな要素の一つであるフリーキック(FK)。流れの中ではなく、止まった状態から繰り出されるキックがそのままゴールネットを揺らせば、盛り上がりは一気に最高潮へと達する。この企画『Beautiful Free Kicks』(美しいフリーキック)では、これまでに生まれたFKの数々を紹介していく。
今回は、フィオレンティーナの元フランス代表FWフランク・リベリがバイエルン時代に決めたフリーキックだ。
2007年にバイエルンへ加入したリベリは世界屈指のウィンガーとして、同クラブで長らく活躍。圧倒的な突破力と決定力を武器にバイエルン攻撃陣の一角を担ったが、時にはセットプレーからもゴールを奪った。
2013年11月9日に行われたブンデスリーガ第12節のアウグスブルク戦では、目の覚めるような弾丸FKを沈めている。
至近距離からのFKとなった中、リベリは短い助走から相手GKが構えている方のサイドへと思い切り蹴り込んだ。

1-0で迎えた42分、バイエルンはペナルティーアーク内、ゴールまで20mもない位置でFKのチャンスを獲得する。

J・ボアテングの元ガールフレンド、破局1週間後に死体で見つかる…

レヴァンドフスキに幻のバロンドール授与か…主催『フランス・フットボール』が検討との報道
バルセロナのポーランド代表FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキに幻のバロンドールが授与される可能性が出てきた。 バロンドールは、『フランス・フットボール』が主催するフットボール界最高の栄誉のひとつである個人賞。 フットボール界屈指のストライカーであるレヴァンドフスキは、2019-20シーズンに在籍したバイエルンで47試合55ゴールを記録し、ブンデスリーガ、DFBポカール、チャンピオンズリーグのシーズントレブルに貢献。同シーズンの最有力受賞者候補となっていた。 しかし、2020年は新型コロナウイルスの世界的なパンデミックを受けた影響で、多くのコンペティションが打ち切りや大会縮小などに追い込まれた結果、『フランス・フットボール』は同年のバロンドールの中止を決断。これによりレヴァンドフスキは最大の受賞チャンスを逃した。 さらに、翌2020-21シーズンも40試合48ゴールという数字を残し、ブンデスリーガ、FIFAクラブ・ワールドカップ、UEFAスーパーカップ、DFLスーパーカップの4冠に貢献したポーランド代表FWは、前年の中止という状況も鑑みて受賞が期待されたが、2021年はアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシが受賞することになった。 この物議を醸す受賞に際してメッシが「去年、パンデミックで中止となったバロンドールはロベルトこそが勝者だった」と素直な思いを語れば、レヴァンドフスキも「どちらかの年は僕の番だったと思っている」、「もし4年後に2020年のバロンドールを受賞することになっても、決して気分を害することはない。それはとても光栄なことで、賞を受け取るだろう」との発言を行っていた。 スペイン『スポルト』によると、以降この一件に音沙汰はなかったが、『フランス・フットボール』はここにきてレヴァンドフスキに2020年のバロンドールを授与することを検討しているという。 現在のところ協議は続いており、結論に達するまでに考慮すべき複数の要素があるというが、前述のレヴァンドフスキのコメント通り、4年後に幻のバロンドールが授与されることになるのか…。 2024.05.15 08:17 Wed
