2018年に特別指定選手として登録され、2年が経過して正式にチームの一員となった旗手怜央。プロ1年目のシーズンは、開幕からピッチに立つなど、飛躍の1年になることを感じさせた。

しかし、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大を受けてリーグは中断。およそ4カ月ぶりに公式戦が戻ってくるが、新たな相棒を手にしてどこまで結果を残せるのか。覚悟を持って臨むシーズンへの意気込みを語った。

川崎Fの下部組織出身MF横田大祐がポドルスキ所属のグールニク・ザブジェに完全移籍加入…昨季はラトビア1部で優勝
