マンチェスター・ユナイテッドに所属するイングランド代表MFジェシー・リンガードが立ち上げたアパレルブランド「JLingz」だが、大きな損失を生み出してしまったようだ。イギリス『マンチェスター・イブニング・ニュース』が伝えている。
リンガードは2018年夏に自身のブランド「JLingz」を立ち上げ、ロゴには自身のゴールパフォーマンスを模したデザインを採用し、アクセサリーや帽子、Tシャツ、フーディー、ジャケットなどの様々なアイテムを販売。リンガード本人は、同ブランドの取締役の一人だ。
しかし、2018年1月に法人化されて以降、最初の1年間で21万1688ポンド(約3000万円)の赤字を計上してしまったようだ。商品が発売されたのは2018年後半からではあるものの、やや心配な数字だ。
リンガードがこのブランドを立ち上げた際には、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのOBであるロイ・キーン氏やギャリー・ネビル氏らから「フットボールに集中すべき」と苦言を呈されていた。また、アンフィールドでリバプールに3-1で敗れる前だったからバツが悪い。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

伝説のGKカーンが語る意外な後悔「あそこに移籍すれば良かった」
