アトレティコ・マドリーは7日、アトレチコ・パラナエンセからの加入が内定していたブラジルDFレナン・ロディ(21)と正式に契約を結んだことを発表した。契約期間は6年間。
ロディは攻撃的な左サイドバックで、2016年にアトレチコ・パラナエンセでプロデビュー。今シーズンはここまで公式戦11試合に出場して2得点2アシストをマークしており、以前からアトレティコの関心が取り沙汰されてきた。
アトレティコは今夏、バイエルンに移籍したフランス代表DFリュカ・エルナンデスに続き、ブラジル代表DFフィリペ・ルイスの退団が決定的な左サイドバックの補強が取り沙汰されている状況だった。
メディカルチェックを終え、正式にアトレティコへの加入が決定したロディは、クラブ公式サイトで以下のようにコメントしている。

「なぜ青なんだ」「新鮮に見える」アトレティコが青×白の120周年ユニを発表!「めっちゃかっこいい」
