ベルギー代表は8日、ユーロ2020予選グループI第3節でカザフスタン代表をホームに迎え、3-0で快勝した。

2連勝スタートのベルギーと1勝1敗スタートのカザフスタンの一戦。[3-4-3]の布陣を採用したベルギーはGKにクルトワ、3バックに右からアルデルヴァイレルト、コンパニ、ヴェルトンゲン、中盤に右からカスターニュ、ヴィツェル、デ・ブライネ、T・アザール、3トップに右からメルテンス、ルカク、アザールと並べた。

そのベルギーが立ち上がりからポゼッションする展開となると、11分にアザールの右クロスをメルテンスがダイレクトで合わせてネットを揺らし先制した。

さらに14分、メルテンスが左サイドゴールライン際からクロスを上げ、カスターニェがヘッドで押し込み、加点に成功。

その後も試合をコントロールするベルギーが3点目こそ奪えなかったものの2-0で前半を終えた。

迎えた後半開始5分、ボックス右からメルテンスの放ったシュートが左ポストに直撃すると、ルーズボールをルカクが詰めてベルギーが3点目を奪った。

その後も余裕のベルギーはカザフスタンに何もさせずに3-0で快勝。3連勝スタートとしている。
