フェネルバフチェは25日、チェルシーのナイジェリア代表FWヴィクター・モーゼス(28)を来季終了までの1年半レンタルで獲得したことを発表した。

2012年にチェルシー加入後、リバプールやストーク、ウェストハムをレンタル移籍で渡り歩きながら、アントニオ・コンテ前監督が就任した2016-17シーズンにチェルシーでチャンスを掴んだモーゼス。右ウイングバックという新境地で価値を見いだし、そのシーズンはリーグ戦34試合に出場し、プレミア制覇に大きく貢献していた。

ところが、今季就任したマウリツィオ・サッリ監督の下では、ここまで公式戦出場はわずか6試合と、完全に戦力外と見なされてしまっていた。

そんなナイジェリア代表FWに、リーグ戦で現在15位に沈むフェネルバフチェが興味。リーグ戦ワースト3位という乏しい得点力の底上げを図るため、モーゼスを指名した格好だ。
