キャリア初退場から巻き返し誓う東京VのMF綱島悠斗「まずはルヴァンに集中。その後は色々な方向でチームの勝利に貢献したい」
東京ヴェルディのMF綱島悠斗がキャリア初の退場からの巻き返しを誓う。 自身初のJ1挑戦となった昨シーズンは後半戦から3バックの一角で定位置を掴み、188cmの長身と長いリーチ、サイズを感じさせない機動力を活かした対人守備。元々の本職がボランチで、J2での1年目は状況に応じて前線でもプレーした経験もあり、攻撃面でも違いを生み出した。 国内クラブからの関心も集めながらも残留を決断した今季は開幕からリーグ全試合に出場し、アルビレックス新潟と名古屋グランパスとの2試合ではいずれもチームに勝ち点をもたらす重要なゴールも記録。まだまだ粗削りな部分はありながらも、そのスケールの大きなプレースタイルから国内組中心で臨む、今年7月のEAFF E-1サッカー選手権での日本代表選出も期待されている。 その好調な24歳だが、12日に行われた明治安田J1第10節のヴィッセル神戸戦(0-1●)では前半のハイパフォーマンスから一転、後半は失点関与にキャリア初の退場というほろ苦い経験することになった。 神戸戦から2日経った練習後に囲み取材に応じた綱島は改めて神戸戦を振り返った。 オンフィールド・レビューの末に取り消された前半終盤の“幻のゴール”、その直後に放った会心のミドルシュートに関してはこぼれ球への予測、昨季1試合2ゴールを記録した浦和レッズ戦から好感触を得るフィニッシュに関する手応えを語りつつ、後半の失点シーンと退場についても言及。 51分の失点場面では相手陣内まで侵入してMF井手口陽介のヘディングに反応したFW宮代大聖からボールを奪いに行ったものの、井手口を含めたルーズボールの競り合いで奪い切れず、空けたスペースで前向きに仕掛けた宮代から左のFWエリキに展開され、最後はゴール前のMF汰木康也に右足で決められた。 最終局面での守備の人数はある程度揃っており、すべての責任を背負うべきではないが、試合後に城福浩監督も「アグレッシブに行くところとマークを受け渡して自分のポジションに戻るところの判断はしなければならない」と改善を訴えていた。 全く同じ状況ではないものの、先日のFC東京戦ではリスキーな局面でアグレッシブにボールを奪い切った流れから最終的にチーム2点目に繋がっており、出足鋭い潰しという持ち味は好プレーと紙一重でもある。 綱島自身も失点に絡んだ責任を受け入れつつも、この経験によって自身のプレーが縮こまることも危惧し、ネガティブに捉えすぎるべきではないと考えている。 「3バックでやっている以上、自分のポジションでなかなか前に出られないと重たくなってしまいますし、逆に出すぎてしまうと、ああいうふうにピンチになる。一番バランスが難しいポジションでもあると思います。ただ、自分があそこで出たシーンに関しては、ボール状況と相手の状況を判断して、あまり遠くにセカンドボールが落ちてこないだろうという予測のもとで、前に出る判断に出た」 「そこは自分としてすごくポジティブに捉えていますし、そこの判断があるからこそ次の判断がより正確になると思います。ただ、あそこで自分が奪っていれば失点しなかったわけですし、そこは反省しつつもネガティブに捉えすぎることなく振り返っています」 一方で、後の退場にも繋がった後半立ち上がりの49分にFW大迫勇也との競り合いの中でもらったイエローカードを含め、ときにアグレッシブに行き過ぎて不必要なファウルやカードをもらっている点は指揮官からの指摘を含め、より高いレベルでプレーするために改善が必要な点だと自覚している。 「(失点場面で)あの場所であれだけフリーな選手、なおかつ宮代選手という技術の高い選手に、あれだけのプレースペースと時間を与えたというのは自分自身の責任でもあります。ああいったところで、プロフェッショナルなファウルで止めるというのも、これから自分が上に行くために必要な要素でもあると思います。そのためにいらないところのファウルだったり、あそこでのイエローカードがあるからこそ、そのプレーができなかったと思うので、そこは全部が繋がっているのかなと思っています」 86分に2枚目のカードをもらって退場となった場面ではMF佐々木大樹の背後への抜け出しに対して、先にスルーパスに反応してポジションを取った末にプレーエリアを確保した手に佐々木がぶつかってきたようにも見受けられ、両者の身長差も含めてイエローカードは厳しい判定だった。 綱島自身も「意見はいろいろあると思いますけど…」と前置きしながらも、「自分としては今でも納得できていない」とコメント。 ただ、大迫との前半からのやり合いを含め、審判に対して悪いイメージを与えていた可能性も認め、「誰が見てもクリーンな対応をしなければいけない」と修正すべき部分だと切り替えた。 「海外では普通に手を使ってブロックするシーンもありますし、もちろん印象はすごく悪かったなと思いますけど、自分のプレーエリアを確保しているところで、相手選手が来てという感じなので、自分から肘を当てたわけではないなという思いはあります」 「ただ、いろんな捉え方がありますし、自分がああやってレッドカードで退場してしまうと、チーム的にも苦しくなりますし、そういったところの修正というのは、自分自身がしなければいけない。自分が退場したシーンもそういう見られ方をしてしまったと思うので、全部が繋がっているからこそ、一つひとつのプレーを大切にしたいなと思っています」 今回の退場によってリーグ次節の川崎フロンターレ戦はサスペンションで欠場となるため、3連戦の2戦目である16日のYBCルヴァンカップ 1stラウンド2回戦のブラウブリッツ秋田戦では出場機会が与えられる可能性は高い。 対戦相手には東京V加入時の同期であるFW佐川洸介や国士舘大学の先輩であるFW梶谷政仁など旧知の選手も在籍。さらに、プロ初ゴールを挙げた相手ということもあり「知っている選手も多くいますし、そこはすごく楽しみ。自分がプロ初ゴールを決めたのも秋田さんですし、これまでの成長を感じられる一戦になる」と意気込む。 また、ルヴァンカップでの禊の活躍を誓うとともに、川崎F戦に向けては裏方としてチームの勝利に貢献したいと語った。 「自分に残されている道というのは、やっぱりルヴァンで活躍しなければいけないと思いますし、リーグ戦に次は出られないからこそ、今の自分に何ができるのかというのはもう一度改めて考えて、いろいろな方向でチームの勝利に貢献したいなと強く思っています。まずはルヴァンに集中し、ルヴァンが終わってからはチームの勝利に集中することというのは、すごく求められるのかなと思います」 2025.04.15 19:00 Tue

ユベントスのフランス代表MFポール・ポグバが苦難に満ちた1年間を振り返った。 マンチェスター・ユナイテッドとの契約が満了した昨夏、ユベントスへとフリー移籍したポグバ。6年ぶりの古巣復帰には背番号「10」が与えられ、スクデット奪還を目論むチームのキーマンとして大きな期待が寄せられた。 しかし、待っていたのはケガとの戦い。開幕前から長期離脱してカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)行きを逃しただけでなく、戦列復帰後も幾度となく再発を振り返した結果、1年を通して公式戦の出場が10試合にとどまった。 フランス『Views』のインタビューに応じたポグバはケガのみならず、自身の代理人であったミーノ・ライオラ氏の死去、実兄による自身への恐喝事件などが重なった今シーズンを「人生最大の試練だった」と振り返った。 「自分が30歳になったなんて少し奇妙に感じるよ。僕は25歳で父親になり、家族と子どもたちに責任があるから、何も変わらないはずだけどね。常に自分らしくいようと努めているけど、成熟し、人生経験が増え、少しは責任感を持てるようになったと思うよ」 「この数カ月、あらゆることが僕を大きく成長させてくれたと思う。たった7カ月で10年分の人生を歩んだかのようだ(笑) これは人生の道のりであり、試練だよ。僕自身は前向きに捉えたい。何が大切なのかを学べたよ」 ポジティブな姿勢を語った一方、この1年間は多少なりともメンタルに不安があったことも認めている。 「自分をコントロールするのは結局のところ、頭だよ。頭の中がスッキリしていなければ、身体もついてこないんだ。ケガの原因はこの点だったと思う。僕の頭はサッカー以外で起きた問題にもストレスを感じ、全身が緊張に苛まれた。早くピッチに戻って雑音を取り除きたかったんだけどね」 ケガでなかなかピッチに戻れなかったことにより、大きな批判を浴びる時期もあったポグバ。来シーズンに懸ける思いは強い。 「ケガだけでなく、サッカー以外にも問題があった…間違いなく人生最大の試練だったよ。だけど、全て乗り越えられれば、僕の人生にとって最大の勝利となる。勝利のためになんだってやる準備ができているよ」 2023.06.17 20:35 Sat

「W杯不在が打撃に」ジルーがベンゼマとの関係性を告白、去就についてはミラン退団除外せず?

まさかのメキシコ移籍から9年弱、気づけば38歳…元フランス代表FWジニャックが史上3人目の大記録達成!
