ポルトガル代表MFのベルナルド・シウバは、クリスティアーノ・ロナウドの代表引退を望まないと話した。

30日に行われたワールドカップの決勝トーナメント1回戦でポルトガル代表はウルグアイ代表と対戦。前半の早い時間帯にウルグアイ代表に先制点を許すも、後半にペペのゴールで同点に。しかし、62分にエディンソン・カバーニに決勝点を決められ、1-2で敗れてベスト8進出を逃した。

試合後、ミックスゾーンでの取材に応じたシウバは「良い入り方ができず、早い時間帯に失点した。でも、僕たちは追いついたけれど、これがこの試合の一番の瞬間だった。その後の失点で試合が決まってしまった」と敗戦に肩を落とした。

「みんなが失望していることは確かだ。それに、今は不思議な気分だ。最初の3試合はベストゲームではなかったけれど、敗れはしなかった。そして、今日はベストゲームができたと思うけど、ウルグアイに負けた。だからこの結果には不満がある。ただ、ウルグアイが上回っていた」

「彼らは前線に最高の2選手を擁し、決定的な仕事をした。彼らの運動量は相当だ。守備をしない攻撃的な選手もいる中で、彼らはチームのために本当に重要な働きをしている。彼らの勝利を祝いたい」

また、クリスティアーノ・ロナウドが4年後のカタール大会にも出場するかと問われたシウバは「分からない。彼の決断だ」と言及するも「ポルトガル国民として、チームメイトとして、彼はファンタスティックな選手だからその場にいることを願う。チャンピオンズリーグでも輝きを放ち、ワールドカップでも4得点を挙げて僕たちを助けてくれた。彼はどんどん良くなっている。だから彼が残ることを願っている」と代表引退を望まないと話した。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

リバプールFWに隠された秘密…ジオゴ・ジョタは実は本名じゃなかった、その理由とは?
