▽日本代表は7日、8日から開幕するEAFF E-1サッカー選手権2017に向けて都内でトレーニングを行った。

▽トレーニング終了後、MF高萩洋次郎(FC東京)がミックスゾーンで記者の取材に応対。トップ下でのプレーが予想されることについては「やりやすい」とコメントした。

──日本代表の雰囲気はどうか
「雰囲気にはなれています。国内組の選手だけということもあって、選手同士は対戦していますし、距離感は近いなと感じています」

──トップ下でのプレーになると思うが
「トップ下ならトップ下なりの良さを出せればと思っています」

──どんなプレーをしたいか
「ゴールに絡めるように、ゴール前で仕事ができるようにしたいです」

──今シーズンはボランチでプレーして来たがトップ下の方が良いか
「どちらかというと2列目の後ろよりは、トップ下ぐらいの位置の方がやりやすいかなと思います」

──9月に日本代表に招集された時にデュエルを伸ばさなくてはと言っていたが、今はどうか
「そこも含めて、全部プレーでアピールしないと生き残っていけないと思います。チームが勝つことプラスアルファで自分の良さを出していきたいです」

──欧州遠征の試合を見たかと思うが、強豪国相手のプレーはどう見たか
「良い守備から早い攻撃ができればと思うので、トップ下でもボランチでも、しっかりと守備のところで良いポジションを取ってボールを奪うことをして、そこから前に行ければと思います」

──ハリルホジッチ監督からはどんなことを求められているか
「ディフェンスラインと中盤の間でボールを受けられる位置にいればというイメージがあると思います」

水頭症の治療も及ばず他界した工藤壮人に古巣が追悼…カナダからもメッセージ「一番辛い仕事」、「信じられません」

「泣いちゃった…」「絶対に忘れません」急逝の工藤壮人、『DAZN』が追悼映像を公開「本当にありがとう」
