▽スウェーデン『Dagens Nyheter』は23日、同国の「最も偉大なスポーツ選手」に関する世論調査の結果を発表した。だが、パリ・サンジェルマンに所属するスウェーデン代表FWズラタン・イブラヒモビッチは、この調査結果に納得していないようだ。 ▽『Dagens Nyheter』が行った調査によれば、同国の年間最優秀選手賞を9度受賞しているイブラヒモビッチは2位になったとのこと。そして、同選手よりも多くの支持を得たのが、テニス選手で“アイス・マン”の異名をとったビョルン・ボルグ氏となった。ボルグ氏は4大大会(全豪オープン、全仏オープン、ウィンブルドン選手権、全米オープン)で11度の優勝を誇り(テニス界で歴代5位タイの記録)、男子プロテニス協会(WTP)のシングルスランキングで1位の在位期間が109週にもわたったスウェーデンを代表するテニス選手だ。 ▽テニス界のレジェンドに1位を譲ったイブラヒモビッチは、この結果に不満を示している。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』がイブラヒモビッチのコメントを伝えた。 「そのリスト(世論調査の結果)は、失礼ながら俺が1位から5位を独占できたはずだ。2番目になることはいつだって最下位のようだと思っている」 ▽ただ、イギリス『BBC』によればイブラヒモビッチはボルグ氏を「生ける伝説」と述べて称賛したという。 ▽一方、この結果を受けてボルグ氏は、イブラヒモビッチについて以下のように語った。 「我々は、彼(イブラヒモビッチ)がスウェーデンのために成し遂げたことを非常に誇りに思わなければならない。私は、彼が今後もフットボール界で活躍することを望んでいるよ」 2014.12.24 09:03 Wed
