スコティッシュ・プロフェッショナル・フットボールリーグ(SPFL)は18日、2019-20シーズンの打ち切りが全会一致で決定したことを発表した。
新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大を受け、3月中旬から世界中のサッカー活動が停止。ベルギー、オランダ、フランスでリーグ戦が打ち切られた一方で、16日にはブンデスリーガが再開していた。
長らく打ち切りか再開かを協議していたSPFLだが、18日にスコティッシュ・プレミアシップの12クラブの全てと協議の結果、シーズンの即時終了が決定した。
なお、シーズンの最終順位は、中断前の2020年3月13日までに行われたリーグ戦での勝ち点で決定。試合数にばらつきがあるため、平均勝ち点で順位を決めることとなった。この結果、セルティックが2019-20シーズンのチャンピオンに輝き、見事9連覇、51回目のリーグ優勝となった。
また、マンチェスター・シティからレンタル移籍で加入したU-23日本代表FW食野亮太郎が所属するハート・オブ・ミドロシアン(通称:ハーツ)が最下位となり、2部へ降格することも決定している。

シティ所属のFW食野亮太郎、新シーズンもポルトガル1部でプレーへ

C大阪との“ダービー”に臨む東京Vの2選手…山見大登「違いを見せて得点を取りたい」
セレッソ大阪との“ダービー”に挑む東京ヴェルディの2選手が意気込みを語った。 16年ぶりJ1復帰となった東京Vは、開幕節の横浜F・マリノス戦(1-2●)、第2節の浦和レッズ戦(1-1△)と2試合共に善戦と言えるパフォーマンスを見せたが、いずれも終盤の失点によって初勝利を逃した。 そして、3度目の挑戦での初白星を目指す緑の名門は、9日にヨドコウ桜スタジアムで開催される明治安田J1リーグ第3節のC大阪戦に臨む。 今シーズン、ガンバ大阪からの期限付き移籍でJ1昇格クラブに加入したFW山見大登は、関西学院大学から特別指定選手としてプレーした2021年9月のルヴァンカップ準々決勝第1戦で大阪ダービーに初出場。そのダービーデビュー戦でゴールを記録し、チームの勝利に貢献した。 さらに、2022年5月に行われたJ1でのダービーではプロ入り初ゴールをライバルから挙げている。 新天地の東京Vでは横浜FMとの開幕戦で途中出場したものの、直近の浦和戦では出番なしに終わるなど、ここまでは城福浩監督が強く求める守備面の適応に苦戦。それでも、チーム屈指の打開力、アタッキングサードでのクオリティを考えれば、指揮官が台頭を求める攻撃面でのゲームチェンジャーの筆頭だ。 その山見はC大阪とのダービーに向けて強い想いを語った。 「自分がこれまで出ている時間帯は守備に押し込まれる展開が多かったですが、自分はやっぱり攻撃の部分で違いを出さないといけない選手。そこで守備もうまくやりながら、攻撃の部分で力を出したい」 「ゲームチェンジャーとして出る場合は、負けている展開とかイーブンの展開でやっぱり1点がほしい展開になるので、そこで自分が違いを見せて得点を取りたいと思っています」 また、東京V移籍後初めて行われる地元関西での一戦では家族や友人だけでなく、保有元であるG大阪のファン・サポーターの観戦も予想されるところだ。 加入時に強い覚悟を持って移籍を決断したと語っていた緑の背番号11は、「自分が大阪でできる試合というのは、このセレッソとの試合しかないので、やっぱりガンバのサポーターが観に来てくれるのであれば、そこで活躍したいという思いはあります。あとは親が来ると言っていたので、ここで自分が東京でどう頑張っているのかを見せる場だと思うので、見せれたらいいなと思います」と、改めてこの一戦への決意を示した。 開幕から2試合のC大阪の印象に関しては、サイドでマッチアップが予想され、ビルドアップの局面でキーマンとなっている日本代表DF毎熊晟矢、新加入のDF登里享平の両サイドバックを警戒している。 「やっぱり毎熊選手が代表でああやって活躍して、あそこから攻撃が始まったりしている場面も多いです。あとは、アンカーに新しく入った田中駿汰選手とかがボールを受けたりとかして、うまく崩しながらサイドの速い選手を使ったサイド攻撃というイメージが強いです」 「やっぱり、サイドバックが内にポジションを取ってくると、自分の背後のところの守備の管理とかが難しくなってくるので、そこでうまく連携を取りながらやらないといけない相手だと思います。一方で、サイドバックの立ち位置が内になるので、ボールをうまく奪えれば、サイドから速い攻撃を仕掛けてショートカウンターとかを狙えるのではないかなと思います」 一方、山見と同様に今回のC大阪戦へ並々ならぬモチベーションを持っているのが、京都産業大学から今季新加入となったMF食野壮磨だ。 現在、G大阪でプレーするFW食野亮太郎を実兄に持つ、G大阪ユース育ちの2023年度関西学生サッカーリーグ1部MVPは、直近2試合でベンチメンバーに入れなかった中、ライバルとの一戦でJ1デビューを狙う。 その一戦に向けて食野は、「どの相手でも勝ちたいですが、セレッソはより勝ちたい相手。友達からもセレッソ戦に向けて連絡もいっぱい来ているので、ベンチに入って出場しているところを見せたいですし、そのために良いアピールができればと考えています」と、意気込んでいる。 現状では山見同様に守備戦術への適応、フィジカルやプレー強度の部分においてチーム内のポジション争いで苦戦が続くが、食野自身が手応えを口にする中盤と前線の繋ぎ役、最大の長所とする攻撃面は得点が必要な状況において十分に活かせるはずだ。 プレシーズンからここまでの自身の現状を冷静に受け止め、少なくない課題を口にしているが、その端々には強い野心や自信も窺える。 「長所はどんどん出せてきているというか、周りとの連携やコミュニケーションも取れてきていると思います。あとは本当に守備のところで、途中から入ったときにやっぱり守備の強度というのを、もう1個ギアを上げてやらないといけないです」 「リズムを作るというところは全然できると思いますが、やっぱりよりゴールに直結するプレーというのを見せないといけないポジションというか、そういうタイプの選手なので、リズムを作り出すだけじゃなくてその先のゴールに直結するところは、もっと突き詰めないといけないと思います」 「縦に速いというか、やっぱり2トップがどんどん前に動き出していくスタイルなので、そこにパスを合わせる自信はありますし、サイドからでもどんどん自分が崩すイメージはできているので、自分が入ったときのイメージはできています」 2024.03.08 20:15 Fri

「知らなかったからビックリした」セルティック加入井手口陽介の上半身タトゥーに驚きの声
