バイエルンに所属するフランス代表DFバンジャマン・パヴァールの今シーズンが終了したようだ。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。
パヴァールは、26日の午前中のトレーニング中に左足を負傷。バイエルンは同日に左足根じん帯(足の付け根付近)の損傷と診断結果を発表していた。
パヴァールの離脱期間については明かされていなかったが、『レキップ』はバイエルンのメディカルスタッフからの情報として4～6週間の離脱が見込まれていると報じた。
これによりパヴァールは、31日に予定されているマルセイユとの親善試合もちろん、8月8日に行われるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16・2ndレグのチェルシー戦やCLを勝ち上がった際にリスボンで行われる“ファイナル8”も欠場を余儀なくされるとみられている。
7シーズンぶりのCL制覇を目指すバイエルンにとって今シーズンここまで右サイドバックのレギュラーとして公式戦46試合に出場するパヴァールの離脱は大きな痛手だ。
