元バルサ逸材のセカンドキャリアは順調…メキシコ最大の石油会社との事業など商才見せる
2021年に現役を引退した元メキシコ代表FWのジョバニ・ドス・サントス氏(35)が、実業家として順調なセカンドキャリアを歩んでいるようだ。 バルセロナのカンテラ出身であるドス・サントス氏は、ロナウジーニョやリオネル・メッシに続く新たなメガクラックとして期待を集めた。しかし、2007-08シーズンにファーストチーム昇格を果たすも、当時黄金期のチームで出場機会を得られず。 以降はトッテナムやマジョルカ、ビジャレアルといったヨーロッパのクラブを渡り歩き、2015年からは母国の隣国アメリカのLAギャラクシー、2019年には父親の古巣である母国クラブ・アメリカでプレーし、2021年限りで現役を退いた。 メキシコ『Claro Sports』によれば、メキシコ代表として通算106キャップを刻んだアタッカーは現在、石油化学会社『ペトロレオス・メキシカーノ(PEMEX)』と関係がある『プロキュラ・メキシコ』のパートナーを務めており、年間40万～50万ドル(約6170万～7710万円)の収入を得ているという。 さらに、メキシコ国内で高級車の売買ビジネスも営んでおり、ここでも成功を収めているとのことだ。 2024.11.16 09:45 Sat

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

大ケガから復帰のスペイン代表MFガビがバルセロナと2030年まで契約延長、ペドリに続く
FCバルセロナは31日、スペイン代表MFガビ(20)との契約延長を発表した。新契約は2030年6月30日までとなる。 バルセロナのカンテラ育ちのガビは、2021年7月にファーストチームに昇格。当初はあまり出番がなかったが、スペイン代表を当時指揮していたルイス・エンリケ監督に見出され、スペイン代表で先に活躍を見せていった。 その後チームの中心人物となり、ペドリとともに中盤を支える存在となったが、2023-24シーズンにスペイン代表の活動で重傷。右ヒザ前十字じん帯断裂、外側半月板損傷の重傷となり、長期離脱となった。 今シーズンもシーズン序盤は欠場が続いたが、10月に復帰すると徐々に出場時間を伸ばしていき、ラ・リーガで11試合1アシスト、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で5試合に出場するなど、復調しつつある状況だ。 バルセロナは30日にペドリとも2030年まで契約を延長しており、中盤を支えるカンテラーノを長期でチームに留まらせることに成功した。 2025.01.31 23:20 Fri
