しかし、今夏に契約満了に伴う退団が濃厚とされ、新天地として有力視されるのはバルセロナ。一部ではバルセロナがギュンドアンに対して年俸1200万ユーロ(約17億8000万円)の2年契約というオファーを提示し、すでに大筋合意に達しているとの見方が浮上している。
それでも、ギュンドアンの代理人を務める叔父のイルハン氏は『アス』のインタビューでこれを否定。「どのクラブとも完全な合意はない。契約を締結したというニュースに驚いている。来季どこでプレーするかは決まっておらず、彼はシティに集中している」と語った。

ギュンドアンの男気!幼少期を過ごしたクラブにボーナスを寄付

プレミアリーグ、ラマダン期間の開催試合で“飲水・栄養摂取タイム”の導入か
プレミアリーグは、ラマダン期間中に開催される試合に関して、選手、スタッフの健康状態への配慮からクーリングブレイクのような一時中断を計画しているようだ。 今月22日から4月21日までムスリム(イスラム教徒)の間では、ラマダンが実施される。 イスラム暦で9月を意味するラマダンは、ムスリムにとって“聖なる月”とされており、自制と規律が求められるこの期間にムスリムは夜明けから日暮れまでの間、一切飲食物を口にすることができない。 そして、フットボール界においても多くの敬虔なムスリムはサウムの期間にその教えを忠実に守り、たとえトレーニング中や試合中においても飲食物を口にすることはない。 この期間におけるコンディション調整を熟知しているベテラン選手はさほど気を遣ったサポートは必要ないが、基礎代謝が高く同期間における経験値が少ない若手選手にとってはパフォーマンスに大きな影響を及ぼすものとなる。 プレミアリーグではチェルシーのMFエンゴロ・カンテ、リバプールのFWモハメド・サラー、マンチェスター・シティのMFイルカイ・ギュンドアンといったスター選手を初め、多くの選手がその制限を受ける形となっている。 そういった中、近年多様性への理解が進むフットボール界において、イングランドのプレミアリーグとフットボールリーグ(EFL)は、クーリングブレイクのような形で選手、スタッフに日没後に飲水、栄養補給を行うための一時的な試合中断を検討しているという。 『ESPN』によると、各リーグ管理者と審判協会のPGMOLは、ラマダン期間にクラブがチームシートを交換する際、影響を受ける選手やスタッフがいるかどうかを調査するよう当局に通知したという。 そして、断食中の選手、クラブスタッフ、試合関係者がピッチサイドで、飲水やエネルギーサプリメントを摂取できるように、自然な形でのプレーの停止を実施する見込みだ。 これまでイスラム圏のリーグ戦では試合開始時間、同様のブレイクを採り入れていたが、ヨーロッパでは各試合において審判団の裁量で試合を一時的にストップする配慮がなされていたが、リーグ全体での決定となれば、画期的な試みとなるはずだ。 2023.03.22 23:32 Wed

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
