リバプール、イングランド代表DFアーノルドとの新契約締結を発表!

リバプールは30日、イングランド代表DFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルド(22)との契約を延長したことを発表した。契約期間は長期とだけ明かしているが、イギリス『BBC』は2025年6月30日までと伝えている。

6歳の時にリバプールの下部組織に加わったアーノルドは、2016年夏にトップチーム昇格を果たし、同年10月にデビュー。これまで5シーズンで公式戦179試合に出場し10ゴール44アシストを記録。昨季はプレミアリーグ36試合に出場していた。

契約延長に至ったアーノルドは、クラブの公式サイトで次のように語っている。

｢このような機会を与えられて光栄に思うし、クラブから契約延長という信頼を示してもらって、僕は何も迷わなかったよ。リバプールは僕の知っている唯一のクラブなので、この時間を長く延長することは、僕と僕の家族にとって素晴らしいことなんだ｣

｢ここで新しい契約を結ぶことは僕にとって誇らしいことだし、クラブやスタッフから信頼を得るのは素晴らしい気持ちだよ｣

リバプールの本拠地アンフィールドが改修へ、スタンド拡張で7000席が増加に
