クロアチア女子代表FWアナ・マリア・マルコビッチがハロウィンで見せた姿が話題を呼んでいる。“世界で最も美しいサッカー選手”としても知られるマルコビッチ。クロアチア出身ながら12歳で家族と共にスイスへと移住。14歳でサッカーを始め、現在はスイスのグラスホッパーの女子チームに所属。男子チームには日本代表DF瀬古歩夢が所属している。

インスタグラムのフォロワーは300万人を超えており、多くのファンを抱える中、ピッチ外のオフショットはもちろんのこと、サッカーをプレーする姿も多くアップされている。
最も好きなサッカー選手はポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド、そしてクロアチアのレジェンドであるルカ・モドリッチを好むマルコビッチだが、新たな投稿が大きな反響を呼んだ。

今回はハロウィンでのコスチュームをアップ。緑色のドレスを着用し「この素晴らしいドレスをありがとう!」と投稿。どうやら『ピーターパン』に出てくるティンカーベルを意識しているようだ。
この姿はファンの間で話題に。大量のハートの絵文字が送られたほか「かわいすぎる」、「女王だ」、「美しくてゴージャス」、「素晴らしい」、「ちょっと信じられない」、「どこまで美しくなるんだ?」とコメントが集まっている。

わずか4分でも大きな一歩。A代表デビューで「絶対生き残る」と決意した中村敬斗の今【新しい景色へ導く期待の選手/vol.7】

24日の第2次森保ジャパン初陣・ウルグアイ戦(東京・国立)の後半44分。三笘薫(ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン)と交代し、記念すべきA代表デビューを飾ったのが、背番号7をつける中村敬斗(LASKリンツ)だった。 「同じポジションに三笘選手がいて、どう交代してもらえるのか分からない中で、少しでも使ってもらえたことはすごく大きい」 こう語る彼は「千載一遇のチャンスだ」と捉え、堂々とピッチに立ち、猛然と敵を追い回した。ロスタイムには先制点を挙げたMFバルベルデ(レアル・マドリード)にハイプレスに行き、DFゴンサレス(マジョルカ)とMFカルバジョ(グレミオ)に寄せられながらも粘って橋岡大樹(シント=トロイデン)にパス。FKを得るきっかけを作った。 「球際に1つ勝っただけで、次のコロンビア戦(28日=大阪・ヨドコウ)に挑む気持ちは変わりますよね。もちろん十分な時間ではなかったけど、代表というものを感じるというか、次の試合に向けてのメンタル面も含め、僕にとっては十分な時間だった。絶対に代表に生き残っていきたいなという気持ちが一層強くなりました」と年代別代表の頃からの悲願だったA代表の一歩を踏み出した22歳のアタッカーは毅然と前を向いた。 ここまでの道のりは順風満帆とは言えなかった。2017年U-17W杯(インド)と2019年U-20W杯(ポーランド)に出場し、17歳でガンバ大阪入り。19歳になったばかりの2019年夏にはオランダ1部・トゥベンテへレンタル移籍し、PSVとアヤックス相手にゴールを奪うという鮮烈な欧州デビューを飾った中村だが、徐々に出番を減らすことになった。 2020年夏にはシント=トロイデンに新天地を見出すも、ほとんど出番を得られず、2021年2月にはオーストリア2部のFCジュニアーズへ。「早く世界トップに駆け上がりたい」と焦燥感にかられていた男が格下リーグへ行くというのは、やはり大きな決断だったに違いない。 「試合に出ることを優先した選んだ道でした」と本人は言う。そこで地道に1つ1つキャリアを積み上げる重要性を再認識したはずだ。「あまり先のことを考えず、目先のことを一歩ずつこなしていこうと考えて、ここまで来ました」と中村も神妙な面持ちでコメントしていた。 かつて南野拓実(モナコ)も自己研鑽に務めオーストリアという国で自分と徹底的に向き合ったことで、ゴールにつながるチャンスメーク、クロスに飛び込んで得点を奪う飛び出しなど、ペナルティエリア付近での仕事に磨きをかけることができた。その成長を認められ、同年夏には提携クラブのLASKリンツに引っ張られ、ガンバから完全移籍。ようやくオーストリア1部で落ち着いてプレーできる環境を手に入れた。 それから2年近くが経過した今、中村は今季公式戦14ゴールという数字を残すと同時に、オフ・ザ・ボール時の切り替えや運動量、守備の強度などをブラッシュアップさせ、幅広いプレーのできる選手へと変貌。その一端を今回の代表合宿中のトレーニングでも示している。 「現代サッカーはどのチームも切り替えとか守備の強度が基盤にある。そのうえにテクニックや戦術があるので、まずは戦うところじゃないですか」といった言葉が口を突いて出てくるあたりは、紛れもなく大人のフットボーラーになった証拠。10代の頃は武器であるシュート力や推進力に依存しがちなアタッカーだっただけに、欧州での苦労や挫折が彼を大きく変えたのだろう。 心身ともに充実した状態で参戦している今回の森保ジャパン。2022年カタールW杯を経験した先輩たちも多く、彼らから吸収できることも多いという。 「シント=トロイデンで一緒にやっていたシュミット・ダニエルさんにはすごくよくしてもらっていますし、同じポジションの三笘選手には試合が終わった後もアドバイスをもらったりしました。個人戦術の話なんですけど、学ぶことがいっぱいで、この代表活動はすごく有意義なものになっていますね」 年長者だけでなく、年代別代表時代から共闘してきた同世代からも刺激を受けている。同じ2000年生まれの菅原由勢(AZ)と瀬古歩夢(グラスホッパー)はウルグアイ戦でスタメンを勝ち取っているし、谷晃生(G大阪)も東京五輪全6試合に出場した実績がある。そして1つ下の久保建英(レアル・ソシエダ)も今季スペイン1部で5ゴール3アシストという目覚ましい数字を残している。 「タケと一緒にやるのは、2018年12月のU-19代表のブラジル遠征以来じゃないかな。メチャクチャうまいと思いますよ。特別な選手じゃないですかね」とリスペクトを口にする。次戦ではその久保と共演する可能性がある。10代の頃コンビを組んだ盟友に負けじと、中村はパンチ力あるシュートで見る者を魅了すべきだ。 ここからは2000年生まれ世代が台頭し、日本代表を押し上げていかなければ、輝かしい未来は開けてこない。攻撃陣唯一の初招集となった背番号7にはそれだけのポテンシャルがある。我々の度肝を抜くようなプレーで代表定着を手にしてほしいものである。 2023.03.26 21:35 Sun

U-22日本代表、新たに3選手を代替招集…招集見送りの町田浩樹に続いて田中碧、遠藤渓太が負傷不参加

“36歳”を迎えたモドリッチが家族団らん誕生日ショットとともに力強い言葉「年齢はただの数字だよ」
