ロシアのユース大会復帰が決定、賛成票のヴァツケ氏とルンメニゲ氏が声明「子どもたちは戦争の犠牲者」

ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)の副会長を務めるドルトムントの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるハンス=ヨアヒム・ヴァツケ氏とバイエルンで監査委員会を務めるカール=ハインツ・ルンメニゲ氏は、ユースレベルでのロシアの大会復帰を擁護した。ドイツ『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。

2022年2月から始まったロシアのウクライナへの軍事侵攻。これを受けて、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)とヨーロッパサッカー連盟(UEFA)はあらゆるカテゴリーにおいて、ロシア代表チームの大会参加を禁止とする措置をとった。

軍事侵攻から1年半以上が経っても先行きが不透明な状況が続いているが、そんな中でUEFAは27日、ユースレベルでのロシアチームの大会参加を認めると決定。これに対してはウクライナサッカー連盟(UAF)が猛反発しているほか、イングランド、ポーランド、ラトビア、リトアニア、スウェーデン、ノルウェー、フィンランドのサッカー連盟、サッカー協会がロシアとの対戦には応じないと表明している。

物議を醸す決定を下したUEFAだが、ロシアのユースチームの大会復帰に賛成票を投じたと報じられるヴァツケ氏とルンメニゲ氏は、それぞれ声明を発表。ユースの子どもたちに戦争の責任はないとして、UEFAの決定を擁護している。

「この決定はロシアに対する我々の否定的な姿勢を軟化させるものではない。これは、凶悪な戦争に対して何もできず、政治的な意思もすることができない子どもたちのためのものだ」

「子どもたちは戦争の犠牲者だ。彼らは何の罪もなく、助けを必要としており、この戦争に何の責任も負っていない。だから私は、彼らが再びプレーできるよう『イエス』に投票した」

一方で、ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)としてはこの件についてコメントせず。投票を行っているため、2人に反対することはないとみられるが、国内で強い影響力を持つ両氏に賛同する声明を出すかどうかが注目されている。

19歳の至宝ヴィルツが憧れるクラブとは? レバークーゼンは安売り許さず?

マテウスが5度目の離婚…結婚時は「最後の妻になることを願う」と語るも叶わず
