ワトフォード、サールへの約34億円オファーを拒否…要求額は約48億円か

ワトフォードがセネガル代表FWイスマイラ・サール(24)に対するオファーを拒否したようだ。

サールは2019年夏にスタッド・レンヌからワトフォードへと加入。昨季はプレミアリーグで22試合5得点を記録するなど主力として活躍したが、チームは今季からチャンピオンシップ(英国2部)に降格となっていた。

今夏はマンチェスター・ユナイテッドからの関心のほか、リーズ・ユナイテッドは獲得に本腰とも伝えられている。そんななか、クリスタル・パレスも本格参戦したことが明らかになった。

フランス『フットメルカート』によると、クリスタル・パレスは移籍金2500万ユーロ(約34億3000万円)を提示。だが、3500万ユーロ(約47億9000万円)を要求しているとされるワトフォードは、この申し出を即座に拒否したとのことだ。

サールは今季、チャンピオンシップの開幕3試合にいずれもスタメン出場し、1得点1アシストをマーク。引き続き、重要な戦力として存在感を放っている。

ジェラード監督が世界4位の高給取り指揮官に… アル・イテファクでの年俸は約23億円
