U-24スペイン代表でオーバーエイジとしてプレーするFWマルコ・アセンシオが同じくレアル・マドリーに籍を置くU-24日本代表MF久保建英を警戒した。スペイン『マルカ』が報じている。

東京オリンピック男子サッカーに参戦中のスペインはグループDを苦しみながらも首位突破すると、準々決勝でU-24コートジボワール代表との延長戦にもつれ込む激戦を制して、ベスト4入り。自国開催だった1992年のバルセロナ大会以来となる金メダルにまた一歩前進した。

そんな今大会屈指のタレント軍団が次の準決勝でぶつかるのは今大会前のフレンドリーマッチでも顔を合わせ、2012年のロンドン大会以来となる4強入りを果たしたホスト国の日本。3日に決勝進出をかけて、埼玉スタジアム2002を舞台に相対する。
ここまで4試合に出場して1アシストの数字を残すアセンシオは日本との試合に先駆けた会見に出席すると、「すごく良い感じだ。初戦から全員が成長して、気持ちも楽になり、フレンドリーマッチのときよりも良い感じで試合に挑めている」とチーム状態の良さを口にした。

そのなかで、今大会のここまで3ゴールと活躍する久保にも触れ、「タケは素晴らしい選手で、今大会をすごく良いものにしている。彼にとっても、日本にとっても、良い大会になっているよね」と印象を語ると、タフなゲーム展開を予想しつつ、ファイナル進出に闘志を燃やした。
「彼らはすごく活気のあるチームで、彼も重要な選手。難しい戦いになるだろうね。彼をできるだけ消して、勝ちたい」

また、東京で行われているオリンピックについて「楽しめているよ。素晴らしいチームメイトもいるしね。人間的にも、選手とコーチングスタッフによって、素晴らしいチームが築かれている。そうじゃないと、1カ月も集中し難いよね」とも話している。

実はGKもいる!背番号「11」のベストイレブンはこれだ!!

モロッコの国家的プロジェクト…ブラヒム&16歳ヤマルに政府高官が接触、自国にルーツの海外出身選手でA代表強化へ

モロッコ国王が、自国にルーツを持つ2選手のA代表招集を指示しているようだ。スペイン『Relevo』が伝えている。 カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)で4位入賞を果たしたモロッコ代表。20世紀前半にフランスの植民地だった同国の代表チームにはフランス生まれの選手が多く、他にもスペインやオランダなど欧州を中心とした海外出身の選手が非常に多いのが特徴的だ。 フランス生まれのワリド・レグラギ監督が率いる現チームでは、キャプテンのDFロマン・サイスもフランス生まれ。DFアクラフ・ハキミはスペイン、MFハキム・ツィエクとDFヌサイル・マズラウィとMFソフィアン・アムラバトはオランダ、GKボノはカナダなどなど中心選手の大半が海外出身だ。 かつて移民として国を離れた者たち。その子孫を集めることが代表チーム強化に繋がっているわけだが、現在はラ・リーガでプレーするモロッコ系プレーヤー2人の呼び戻しに注力。レアル・マドリーのMFブラヒム・ディアス(24)、バルセロナのFWラミン・ヤマル(16)を招集したい考えがあるようだ。 2人とも、生まれも育ちもスペインで、父親がモロッコ人。16歳ヤマルが今シーズンのラ・リーガ序盤戦で旋風を巻き起こしていることもあってか、モロッコ国内では2人の勧誘に関する議論が活発化しており、もはやスポーツの枠組みを越え、国家的なプロジェクトになっているという。 また、国王であり、国家元首でもあるムハンマド6世の命を受けた政府高官ら数人が「ブラヒム&ヤマルをモロッコ代表に」作戦を進めており、2人と電話で接触。モロッコは2030年のW杯招致に立候補していることもあって、本気で2人の囲い込みに動いているようだ。 ブラヒムはA代表の変更手続きが容易な国際親善試合とはいえ、2021年にスペイン代表として1試合に出場した経験が。ただ、現時点でモロッコ代表入りには応じずも、プライベートで頻繁にモロッコを訪れており、スペイン代表から遠ざかるなか、どこかで決断する可能性も捨てきれないとみられている。 その一方、ヤマルの説得は現実的ではない。こちらは9月の代表ウィークでスペイン代表に初招集されることが確実視され、カンテラの先輩MFガビが保有する17歳62日という最年少出場記録を塗り替えるものと考えられている。もう時間が残されていない。 可能性があるとすればブラヒムの方であることは想像に難くない。レグラギ監督はブラヒムから「イエス」が届けば、即座に招集する方針とのことだ。 2023.08.29 17:51 Tue

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」
