女子サッカー界を代表する2人の間に赤ちゃんが誕生する予定だ。
カーはオーストラリア女子サッカー界のアイドル的存在であり、チェルシーでもFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で5連覇を達成。女子FAカップで3回、リーグカップで2回優勝を経験している。
現在はヒザのじん帯損傷でプレーできない状態だが、6月にチェルシーと2年契約を結んだ。
2人は2023年のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップに互いに国を代表して出場するなど、女子サッカー界の実力者。おめでたい話となった。

おめでたいニュースを発表したのは、チェルシー・ウィメンのオーストラリア女子代表FWサマンサ・カー(31)と、ウェストハム・ウィメンの元アメリカ女子代表MFクリスティ・ミュイス(33)の2人。カーが自身のインスタグラムで「ミュイスとカーの赤ちゃんは2025年に誕生予定!」と発表した。2人によれば、ミュイスが赤ちゃんを妊娠するとのこと。ウェストハムはインスタグラムを通じ「第一子を妊娠していることを発表したクリスティとパートナーのサムに心からお祝い申し上げます」と祝福した。現在はヒザのじん帯損傷でプレーできない状態だが、6月にチェルシーと2年契約を結んだ。

警察官へ「愚かで白人」発言、人種差別容疑がかけられたオーストラリア女子のエースFWカーは無罪判決「不適切な発言は謝罪します」
