なでしこジャパンのDF熊谷紗希(ローマ)とMF長谷川唯(マンチェスター・シティ)の2人が、お茶目な姿でファンへのメッセージを送っている。28日、パリ・オリンピック アジア最終予選の第2戦が国立競技場で行われ、なでしこジャパンは北朝鮮女子代表と対戦した。
サウジアラビアで行われた第1戦はゴールレスドローで終わっていた中、日本は前半26分にDF高橋はなのゴールで先制すると、後半32分にMF藤野あおばが貴重な追加点をマーク。前半45分にはGK山下杏也加のファインセーブもあり、終盤に1点を返されたものの、北朝鮮の反撃を1点に抑え、2-1で勝利。2大会連続6度目のオリンピック出場を決めていた。
主将の熊谷と中盤の要である長谷川は、ともに先発フル出場。チームを引っ張り、勝利へと導いていた。
その2人が、応援してくれたファンに感謝のメッセージ。オリンピックの5つの輪をかたどったカラフルなメガネを額にかけながら、カメラに向かって「パリオリンピック出場を決めました。皆さん、応援ありがとうございます」と感謝のメッセージを伝えている。

「これはカッコいい」「選手が着るとヤバい」ローマの新ユニフォームのダークレッドとゴールドは「美しい色合い」と好評、ディバラのモデル姿にも絶賛の声

「この賞に恥じぬよう」FC東京の松木玖生がAFC年間最優秀選手賞受賞を喜ぶ「FC東京で受賞できたことを誇りに思う」

日本サッカー協会(JFA)は21日、なでしこジャパンの池田太監督(53)が契約満了により退任することを発表した。なお、後任は決定次第発表される。 池田監督は、武南高校、青山学院大学と進学し、1993年から1996年まで浦和レッズでJリーガーとしてプレー。引退後は、浦和でユースのコーチや監督、トップチームのコーチなどを務めると、2012年から2016年まではアビスパ福岡のコーチを務めていた。 2017年にU-19日本女子代表監督に就任すると、同年のAFC U-19女子選手権で優勝。2018年のU-20女子ワールドカップに出場すると、ここでもチームを初優勝に導く手腕を見せる。 2019年には再びU-19日本女子代表の監督に就任し、AFC U-19女子選手権を連覇。しかし、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響で、2020年のU-20女子ワールドカップ(W杯)は中止となっていた。 2021年の東京オリンピックは高倉麻子監督が率いた中、ベスト8で終わると、大会後の2021年10月になでしこジャパンの監督に就任した。 自身が率いて世界を制したU-20日本女子代表のメンバーを中心に、ベテランの熊谷紗希ら経験者と、さらに下の世代の浜野まいか、藤野あおばらを融合。2023年のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯では、強豪スペイン女子代表に勝利するなどするも、ベスト8で敗退。先日まで行われたパリ・オリンピックでは、10代の谷川萌々子、古賀塔子らも起用しながらグループステージを勝ち上がるも、準々決勝でアメリカ女子代表に敗れてベスト8で敗退していた。 池田監督はJFAを通じてコメントしている。 「就任してから2年11カ月、なでしこジャパンとして一緒に戦ってきてくれた選手、スタッフ、そしてサポートしてくださったパートナー企業の皆様、温かく、熱く応援してくださったサポーターの皆様に感謝の気持ちを伝えたいです」 「ワールドカップ、オリンピックという世界大会を通して、チームとしてできることを増やし、成長してこられたと思います。なでしこジャパンとしてさらに上に進み、選手と共にここから先の景色を見たかったです」 「なでしこジャパンがこれからも多くの人に勇気と感動を届け、子どもたちの夢見る場所であるよう願っています。ありがとうございました」 また、宮本恒靖会長も池田監督の退任に際してコメントしている。 「池田監督には 2017 年に U-19 日本女子代表の監督に就任していただき、2018 年の FIFA U-20 女子ワールドカップで若い選手たちを率いて初優勝をもたらしてくれました。2021 年からはなでしこジャパンの監督として世界一を目指す選手たちを継続して成長させてくれました」 「パリオリンピックでは優勝したアメリカに惜しくも延長戦で敗れ、ベスト 8 で大会を終えることとなりましたが、池田監督のマネジメントによりチームとしての結束が生まれ、厳しい戦いを勝ち切る姿を幾度となく見せてくれました。池田監督のもとで経験を積んだ選手たちが、これからの日本の女子サッカーをより発展させていってくれると信じています」 「池田監督には今後も日本サッカーの発展に力を貸していただければと思います。太さん、本当にありがとうございました」 2024.08.21 16:11 Wed
