マンチェスター・シティに所属するウクライナ代表DFオレクサンドル・ジンチェンコ(24)が第1子の誕生を報告した。

シャフタール・ドネツクのユース出身のジンチェンコは、2015年ロシアのウファでプロデビュー。その後2016年にマンチェスター・シティへ引き抜かれると、PSVでのレンタルを経て、徐々に出場機会を増やしている。

プライベートでは、2020年8月にテレビレポーターのヴラダ・シェグロワさん(25)と結婚。ヴラダさんはシティのジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督の戦術を公に批判したことで大きな非難を受けたが、その後ジンチェンコが謝罪している。

2人は昨シーズン終盤に妊娠を発表していたが、1日に第1子が誕生。ジンチェンコは自身のインスタグラムで「愛しています。ありがとう!ヴラダ・シェグロワ、君は僕の人生すべてだ!2021年8月1日」と綴っている。

1日に行われたバーンズリーとの親善試合に出場していたジンチェンコは、出産には立ち会えなかったものの、ビデオ通話で赤ちゃんとの対面を果たしたようだ。

守るべきものが増えたジンチェンコの新シーズンのさらなる奮起に期待だ。

「すごい」「素晴らしい芸術作品」一面を壁画化、ジンチェンコのホームジムがエミレーツに大変身!

アーセナルがまたシティから補強!? ジンチェンコ獲得に尽力中
