マンチェスター・シティは23日、U-17ブラジル代表FWカイキ(17)の完全移籍での獲得に関してフルミネンセと合意したことを発表した。なお、今シーズン終了までは引き続きフルミネンセに残留することになる。カイキの愛称で知られるカイキ・ダ・シウバ・シャガスは、フルミネンセの下部組織に所属する左利きのアタッカー。右ウイングを主戦場に利き足は異なるものの、ブラジル代表FWネイマールを彷彿とさせる、圧倒的な個の打開力を最大の特長とする逸材だ。今シーズンはカンピオナート・カリオカで8試合2ゴールを記録している。
なお、移籍市場に精通するイタリア人ジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏が伝えるところによれば、U-18カテゴリーで南米最高のタレントの1人とも評される逸材に関して両クラブは、1000万ユーロ(約13億円)+インセンティブ(最大700万ユーロ)、将来のリセール時に移籍金20%を支払うという条件で合意に至ったという。
また、加入時期は2022年6月となり、カイキとシティは2027年までの5年契約を締結する予定だという。

「最強のスタジアムになる」シティのスタジアム改修計画が承認!総工費500億円で壮大なエンターテインメント施設へ「めっちゃ豪華」
