フルミネンセは6日、リバプールのGKマルセロ・ピタルガ(22)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
ピタルガは、フルミネンセの下部組織出身で、2020年9月にリバプールに完全移籍で加入。マクレスフィールド、セント・パトリックス・アスレティックFC、リヴィングストンとレンタル移籍を経験していた。

フルミネンセのブラジル代表MFアンドレ・トリンダーデ(22)。リバプールからのオファーに断りを入れた理由を明かした。イギリス『90min』が伝えている。
アンドレはブラジルの強豪・フルミネンセで主軸を担うセントラルハーフ。2022シーズンに公式戦61試合でプレーし、2023シーズンもここまでフルミネンセで公式戦52試合、ブラジル代表として2試合の計54試合に出場するなどタフネスぶりが際立っている。
今夏はアーセナルやリバプール、バルセロナから打診を受けていると報じられたが、フルミネンセのマリオ・ビッテンコート会長がリバプールからのオファーがあることを認めていたなかでも移籍は実現せず。欧州上陸は先延ばしとなった格好だ。
あれから数カ月が経過し、アンドレがけん引するフルミネンセは南米王者を決めるコパ・リベルタドーレスで決勝戦へと進出。チームは悲願の南米初制覇を目指し、4日にブラジルのマラカナン・スタジアムでボカ・ジュニアーズと対戦する。
これに先立ち、南米サッカー連盟(CONMEBOL)公式サイトのインタビューに応じたアンドレ。今夏リバプールに断りを入れた理由を明かしている。
「どんな選手も欧州でのプレー、特にビッグクラブでのプレーを夢見ていると思う。僕もその1人だ。けど、『キミをここに残したい』と言ってくれたフェルナンド・ディニス(フルミネンセ監督/ブラジル代表暫定監督)との“約束”を守ることにしたんだ」
「まさか実際に(リバプールから)オファーが来るなんて思ってなかったから、『何があってもシーズンが終わるまではフルミネンセに残る』と伝えてあったんだよ。(オファーは)コパ・リベルタドーレスでラウンド16に残っていたタイミングだったし、難しい決断だったのは正直なところだよ」
「フルミネンセが決勝戦まで残ったからじゃないけど、僕は正しい決断をしたと思う。ここに残り、タイトル獲得のために努力し、チームを助ける道を選んだんだ。我ながら誠実な行動だったと思う。残すは1試合、僕はこのタイトルのために命を捧げる」

コパ・リベルタドーレスを制したフルミネンセの元ブラジル代表DFマルセロが喜びを口にした。『ESPN』が伝えた。
4日、コパ・リベルタドーレスの決勝が行われ、フルミネンセとボカ・ジュニアーズが対戦した。
ブラジル代表の暫定指揮官でもあるフェルナンド・ジニス監督率いるフルミネンセは、延長戦を制して初のコパ・リベルタドーレス優勝を果たすこととなった。
今年2月にオリンピアコスから復帰したマルセロは自身が育ったクラブの悲願達成に貢献。レアル・マドリー時代に5度もチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)を制した経験があるが、コパ・リベルタドーレス制覇は格別だと語った。
「これはもう終わったこと。重要なのは、フルミネンセで優勝することだ。今日は違う。僕は大好きなクラブ、僕のキャリアを築くための全てのものを与えてくれたクラブ、僕の成長を見守ってくれたスタッフと共に、とても重要なタイトルを獲得した」
「それ以上にやりがいのあることはない。かけがえのないものだよ」
また、息子たちも優勝すると語っていたとコメント。後押ししてくれたファンにも感謝を述べた。
「僕は人生で本当に素晴らしい瞬間を生きている。僕は16年ぶりにブラジルに戻ったけど、息子は僕たちがリベルタドーレスのチャンピオンになるだろうと言っていた。僕たちがチャンピオンになると言ったよ。彼は8歳だ」
「とても美しいものだ。そして、ファンの熱狂は何物にも代え難い。僕の人生で最も幸せな日だ」
なお、これによりマルセロはCLとコパ・リベルタドーレスを制した12人目の選手に。35歳にして歴史に名を刻み、9人目のブラジル人選手となった。

ブラジル人指揮官のオズワルド・オリヴェイラ氏の変貌ぶりが現地で話題だ。
ブラジル複数クラブでの指導経験を持ち、2007年に就任した鹿島アントラーズでは、史上初となるJリーグ3連覇を達成したオリヴェイラ監督。2011年に退任して以降は、母国クラブやカタールでの指揮を経て、2018年4月に浦和レッズの監督に就任した。
浦和では天皇杯優勝を成し遂げたものの、2019年5月に解任。その後はフルミネンセに3度目の復帰を果たしたものの1カ月強で解任されると、それ以降はどのクラブも指揮していない。
現在73歳のオリヴェイラ氏は、14日に母国ブラジルのスポーツ番組に出演。以前より顔がふっくらした印象で、メガネを外した顔は別人のようだった。
ブラジル『CORREIO BRAILIENSE』によると、オリヴェイラ氏は1月に顔の若返り手術を実施したことで注目を浴びていたという。そして、今回の番組出演時にもまた別人のように顔が変わっていたことで、「誰か分からない」とSNS上で大きな話題になっているようだ。

マドリーでは通算546試合に出場し38ゴール103アシストを記録。ラ・リーガで6度、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で5度の優勝を経験するなど、数多くのタイトル獲得に貢献した。
オリンピアコスに移籍後、2023年2月に古巣であるフルミネンセに完全移籍。しかし、2024年11月に退団して以降は無所属となっていた。
フルミネンセでは2度の在籍で公式戦107試合11ゴール3アシスト。オリンピアコスでは10試合3ゴールに終わっていた。
また、ブラジル代表としても2006年9月にデビュー。58試合で6ゴールを記録していた。
自身のSNSで引退を発表したマルセロは引退を決断し、キャリアを振り返っている。
「18歳のとき、レアル・マドリーが僕のドアをノックし、僕はここにたどり着いた。今、僕は誇りを持って、自分が真のマドリディスタだと言える」

フルミネンセが27日、オズワルド・オリヴェイラ監督(68)の解任を発表した。
オリヴェイラ氏は2018年4月、浦和レッズの監督としてJリーグに復帰。途中就任ながら天皇杯を制してAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)出場権をチームにもたらしたが、今シーズンは序盤から成績が芳しくなく、5月末に浦和を退団した。
その後、8月21日にフルミネンセの監督にキャリア3度目の復職を果たしたオリヴェイラ氏だが、苦戦。ブラジル全国選手権5勝4分け12敗の全20チーム中16位に沈み、26日にホームで行われた第21節のサントス戦も1-1のドローに終わっていた。
なお、オリヴェイラ氏の招へいから1カ月が過ぎたタイミングで監督交代に踏み切ったフルミネンセは当面、アシスタントコーチのマルカオ氏とU-20チームのテクニカルコーディネーターを務めるアイルトン・フェラス氏が指揮を執るという。
