FA女子スーパーリーグ(FA WSL)のトッテナムは21日、アメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガン(31)が今年限りで退団し、年明けにアメリカに帰国することを発表した。なお当初の契約ではシーズンが終わる5月末までの延長オプションも付随していたが、それを行使しない形となった。
アメリカ女子代表のエースとして過去3回のワールドカップに出場しているモーガンは、今年9月にナショナル・ウーマンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のオーランド・プライドからトッテナムに加入。リーグ戦では5試合に出場し、2ゴールを挙げていた。
モーガンはクラブ公式サイトを通じてコメントを発表している。

10年前、当時21歳のベイルがCLで覚醒…!インテル相手に記録した衝撃のハットトリック【CL名場面プレイバック】

バレンシア、ビッグクラブが関心の逸材DFガシオロフスキと2027年まで契約延長
バレンシアは26日、U-19スペイン代表DFヤレク・ガシオロフスキ(20)との契約を2027年6月30日まで延長したことを発表した。 ポーランド人の父親とスペイン人の母親を持ちスペインで生まれ育ったガシオロフスキは、192cmの体躯を誇る左利きのDF。7歳でバレンシアのカンテラに加入し、リザーブチームのバレンシアBでのプレーを経て2023年10月に行われたマジョルカ戦でトップチームデビュー。 これまでトップチームでは、公式戦34試合に出場しており、今季もラ・リーガ14試合を含む公式戦18試合に出場している。また、U-19スペイン代表の主力としても活躍しており、昨夏に行われたU-19欧州選手権では優勝に大きく貢献した。 現在はセンターバックを主戦場としているが、元々はサイドバックでプレーしていたこともあり、バレンシアのトップチームではセンターバック、左サイドバックの両方でプレーしている。恵まれた体躯通りの空中戦の強さに加え、サイズを感じさせないスピードを兼備するフィジカルアスリートで、出足鋭いアグレッシブな対人守備を持ち味とする。 判断や精度という部分に伸びしろを残すが、後方からの配球や積極果敢なドライブなど攻撃に関与する意識も高い現代型のDF。セットプレー時はターゲットマンとしても有能だが、ロングスローも武器としている。 以前にはアーセナルやトッテナム、ユベントス、インテルといったビッグクラブからの関心が報じられていたガシオロフスキだが、かねてより残留の意向を示しており、自身を育ててくれたクラブとの新契約を決断した。 2025.02.27 12:30 Thu
