選手に酷評されたトレーニング内容、実際はどうだったのか検証

クロアチア代表MFマテオ・コバチッチに「かなり単調だった」とトレーニングを酷評されたマウリツィオ・サッリ監督。果たしてその言葉は、本当だったのだろうか。

【動画】酷評されたトレーニングの実態は?

今シーズンからユベントスの指揮を執るサッリ監督のトレーニングをチェックし、改めて確認してみた。

今回は、8日に行われるセリエA第23節ヴェローナとの一戦に向けたトレーニングの一部をチェックする。

動画では、本格的にボールを使ったトレーニングの様子はないものの、コーンやポールを使った反復練習の様子が収められており、サーキットトレーニングなど、フィジカルを鍛える要素が強い。

ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド、コロンビア代表MFフアン・クアドラード、ブラジル代表MFドウグラス・コスタ、イタリア代表DFレオナルド・ボヌッチ、アルゼンチン代表FWゴンサロ・イグアイン、オランダ代表DFマタイス・デ・リフトなどそうそうたるメンバーが、コーチの指示に合わせて動き、黙々とトレーニングをこなしている。

動画内のトレーニングの内容は確かに地味だが、プロのトレーニングといっても地味な努力は付き物。これくらいが普通な気もしないでもない。

もちろんトレーニングの全容が公開されているわけではないので、この前後にどのような内容のトレーニングがあるかは分かりかねるが、コバチッチに酷評された練習はどんなものだったのだろうか。想像が膨らむばかりだ。

1チームに1人欲しかった“万能型サイドバック”、ジャンルカ・ザンブロッタ
