対するスウェーデンは、初戦で優勝候補のアメリカ女子代表に3-0と快勝。女王に45試合ぶりの土を付け、一躍優勝候補の筆頭に躍り出た。

続く第2戦のオーストラリア女子代表戦を4-2で勝利して決勝トーナメント進出を決め、第3戦のニュージーランド女子代表戦はターンオーバーを決行しながら2-0で白星を収めている。

システムは2ボランチ型の[4-3-3]をメインに採用し、前線からのプレッシングとサイド攻撃、クロスを中心とする強敵だ。

両ウイングのFWソフィア・ヤコブソン、FWフリドリーナ・ロルフォを軸にサイドを崩し、中央ではチームの得点王FWスティーナ・ブラックステニウスが待ち構え、トップ下のFWコソヴァレ・アスラニが、3トップを自在に操る。

5年前の前回大会は銀メダル、2019年の女子ワールドカップ(W杯)は3位と結果を残しているが、世界大会でのタイトルは獲れていない。上記の2大会を経験したメンバーも多数存在し、悲願の初優勝に向けて機運は高い。

「世界一スタイリッシュなクラブ」と称されるAIKが16世紀の油絵モチーフとした限定ユニフォームを発表、過去にはなでしこ林も在籍

「今までで最も酷い」「複雑な気持ち」太陽をイメージしたスウェーデン代表の新ユニフォームが大不評「一体どうすればこんなにも間違うのか」
