2得点を挙げた日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザのFW神谷千菜が、ゴールシーンを振り返った。東京NBは3日、相模原ギオンスタジアムで行われた2023-24 WEリーグ第8節ノジマステラ神奈川相模原戦に臨み、2-0で勝利を収めた。

昨年12月、なでしこリーグ1部の朝日インテック・ラブリッジ名古屋からの完全移籍が発表された神谷は、昨季のなでしこリーグ得点王。移籍ウインドウの関係で、ウインターブレイク間に選手登録が行われた。
再開初戦となった今節、早速のスタメンで起用され、WEリーグデビューを果たすと、いきなりの2ゴールをマーク。強烈なインパクトを残した初陣を次のように振り返った。

「2得点という形で結果を残せたことは、自分にとっても大きいスタートだなと思います。でも、それ以外の部分で、貢献できていない部分も多いと思うので、残りの試合でしっかり改善していきたいです」
2ゴールはいずれもヘディング。1点目は19分、ゴール前でマーカーを牽制しながら空間を認知し、岩﨑心南のクロスの瞬間にそこへ飛び込んだ。

「最初はファーにいたのですが、ニアが空いているなと思って、相手の前に入ったら触れるかなと。そこにいいボールが来たので、自分の得意な形で合わせるだけでした」

以前、話を伺った際には、「FWとしての"感覚"を磨き続けている」とのコメントを残していたが、このゴールはまさに「感覚的なものがあった」だったとのこと。培ってきた力が垣間見られた。

64分の2点目は体を投げ出してのヘディング弾。力強さを感じさせるが、この場面でも細かい動き直しを繰り返しており、コメントからも冷静さがうかがえる。

「(北村)菜々美さんがクロスを上げる際に、練習でも深い位置になったら高いボールを上げてくれていたので、ファーにいたらこぼれてくるかなと感じていました。キーパーが触ってこぼれてくるのかなと思っていましたが、キーパーが(DFと)被っていたので、あとは自分が触るだけでした」

この上ないWEリーグデビューを果たした神谷だが、「キープや守備面はまだまだ課題があると痛感しました」と、向上心も忘れない。東京NBの新たな得点パターンとして存在感を示した神谷は、逆転優勝へ向けての最重要キーマンとなりそうだ。

「これからもしっかりフォワードとして得点という形で勝利に貢献できるのが一番ですし、それ以外の部分でももっとチームに貢献できるように、練習からコミュニケーションとって頑張っていきたいと思います」

東京NB退団のDF木﨑あおいがマレーシアに挑戦! 浦和の下部組織出身で、EL埼玉、S広島Rでもプレー

I神戸は執念の逆転勝利で首位譲らず! 追走する2位東京NBは4発大勝、女王浦和は足踏み続くS広島Rをかわし3位へ【SOMPO WEリーグ】

ピンク髪になったエンジェル・シティFW遠藤純、開幕戦以来のゴールならず…味方に当たりアシストに

大宮Vが4発大勝でマイ仙台は開幕からの連勝ストップ、N相模原は南野のバースデーゴールが決勝点に!《WEリーグ》
